Nicola’s Ristorante – Waterloocalled in early Saturday evening after visiting the beach. food was lovely served by friendly and efficient staff. lovely surroundings. definitely worth a visit. recommend this restaurant,
Nicola’s Ristorante – WaterlooA gem of a restaurant. i genuinely believe that you wont find better Indian food than this on the Wirral. Karma is a successful small family restaurant and it is understandable why. excellent food, great wine, well priced, friendly staff, pleasant surroundings. what more do you need in a restaurant. its worth trying.
Karma – West KirbyTime before last, my visit was disappointing, but last weekend had one of the most enjoyable meals ever in Liverpool. Menu had changed quite a lot. It was absolutely delicious with the most delicate of flavours and cooked to perfection!
Chaophraya – Liverpool City CentreThe food here is great! even there desserts are homemade which is always a good sign (good wine too), we get the train from Crosby because there aren't any decent restaurants there. Yes it's a little noisy..but if you can't beat them.....
Bistrot Verite – SouthportMy family have been visiting the Casa Italia for 30 years. Starting off by my Mum taking my daughter, and now her children are regulars there. We have had many of our landmark occasions there and have never been disappointed by the food or the fantastic service. Yesterday myself and 13 of my cousins had a bit of a reunion there and all on short notice. Many thanks to the staff, your always fantastico!!!
Casa Italia – Liverpool City CentreI absolutely love this restaurant and would happily eat there every day. The staff are great and the food is superb, a wide choice offering excellent value for money. My current favourite dish is the delicious chicken alla crema. Heartily recommended!
Salvatore’s – SouthportMy wife and I visited the Asiana on 18.07.11 and had a good time. The food was fantastic, extremely tasty and good size portions. The food and the service was faultless. As mentioned in a few reviews you are left to enjoy your meal and not rushed like some restaurants. The waiters where efficient and welcoming. We will definitely return. The take away menu is good value for money and definitely worth a try. Well done Asiana, you have won us over.
Asiana – West DerbyThis place has some very interesting menu choices. It just really trendy and laid back without being overstated
Host – Liverpool City Centreprobably the most disgusting meal served to me ever ! I went on the 11/7/2011 which was on the buffet night but ordered off the menu. I was convinced the chef had just put buffet food on my plate and charged me menu price ! I could not eat any of it, it was like every spice possible had been thrown over my lamb skewer in a pile of slop with an extra bowel of it for good measure! I had to take it home so as to not upset the chef, hello ? what was I thinking of ! Sorry I not send it back but it was a birthday and did not want to spoil it. I sent an email of complaint the next day but that got ignored.
Magic Spices – WallaseySO Salsa is so good - the tapas are all beautifully cooked and presented; the staff are friendly and attentive, and it's great value for money with a warm atmosphere - go see.
So Salsa – Crosby"Food is amazing, the service was great and the staff were very attentive, We will definitely be visiting again"
So Salsa – CrosbyHave visited the Fat Italian on numerous occasions now and have tried most things on the menu and it really is a fabulous restaurant. The service is excellent with a really relaxing atmosphere and the chef is obviously very talented as the food is always beautifully presented and extremely tasty. Recently made the mistake of trying out a city restaurant (San Carlos) thinking it might be more special, shouldn't have bothered as it wasn't a patch on Fat Italian. Highly recommend it and will return for many years to come! Well done to all the staff!
The Fat Italian – CrosbyJust got back from yet another fantastic night at Mezze. The food is consistently of the highest quality and tastes wonderful. The service is spot on, you feel welcomed and comfortable immediately. The prices are always very reasonable. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. It is a true gem. If you haven't tried it then please do. Thank you Mezze.
Mezze – WallaseyDropped into Dr Duncans with some old rugby-playing friends of 40+ years who meet weekly to enjoy real ale in various different Liverpool pubs. 2nd round was 7 pints of Cains FA - definitely "0ff" - tasted and smelt of vinegar, so they were taken back to the bar with a polite request for an alternative beer. Bar staff not interested. Manager announced there was nothing wrong with the beer. Total lack of interest of the fact that 7 guys who had been drinking beer for over 40+ years were concerned about the beer's quality. It wasn't as if we were after a a free pint - all 7 of the returned glasses of "FA were full, less a sip! The way our request was dealt with was very poor. It was a "take it or leave it" approach. Needless to say, we all left for the nearby Crown & Mitre which is a GENUINE Real Ale Pub. Dr Duncan's is Cains' Flagship pub but the staff running it did not demonstrate much interest in customer satisfaction or competence in keeping a good beer cellar. Sorry Cain's. Your beer is great but your "front of house" pub is not doing you any favours!
Dr Duncans – Liverpool City CentreHighly Recommend this excellent coffee shop owned by the brilliant owners of the previous Bella Roma. You need to visit this cafe and experience the freshly prepared food at INCREDIBLY competitive prices.
Caffe Roma – St.Helenswe had lunch on Sunday 5 adults 4 children i had the chicken in red wine sauce which i sent back it was a chicken thigh and a tiny drumstick this part of the chicken is all bone and the cheapest part of the chicken.i have been to your restaurant a few times, and the food has been good, our bill was a £115 any good restaurant would not have charged me for my meal, mrs gilling
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City CentreDespite not being our "local" in terms of distance, Ambuja is the Indian we frequent the most, whether it's dining in or ordering a takeaway. The food and service is always perfect, and the range of freshly prepared meals are fantastic. You can order your traditional favourites such as Korma, Dhansack and Jalfrezi, but Ambuja also offer signature dishes such as Mishti Law and Sunali Machlie (Trout). We've never been let down by the rich flavours of all the meals we've tried, and the presentation of each meal is like something out of MasterChef at times. You will always leave feeling full, but not over-stuffed!
