Absolutely fantastic. We've been visiting Lisa's chip shop for many years and her mothers before she took this shop over. Definately the best chippy and Chinese on the Wirral! I wont go anywhere else!

Golden Fry No 2 – GreasbyThe beautiful, genuine staff were so friendly. The service was great and the food was amazing. I'm not too adventurous so I didn't try any of the more exotic food but the Turkish barbecue was a meat lovers dream. I'll be taking my girlfriend next time and would definitely recommend the place to others.
Antalya – Mossley HillJust Went For a Meal With My Family And I Really Enjoyed The Food, Atmosphere And Overall Service. I Have Been To Casa Italia Many Times Before, And Hopefully Many Times To Come!
Casa Italia – Liverpool City CentreWell, was looking for a different Chinese and found this one after looking at this site and reading the reviews. " fabulous food.......quality was amazing.........better than I had before.......little jewel that nobody knows about.....the best chinese that I have ever been to" , so packed the missus and kids into the car and headed down there. Looked at the picture of the outside of the place but didnt let it put me off. WHAT A HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT. It is a low class chinese with low class food. There are far more superior chinese restaurants in St Helens. Think these reports have been left by people who dont travel any further than the bottom of their street. For the quality of the food the prices are a joke. It cost us over £150 and all everyone was looking forward to was getting a Mcflurry on the way home. Soft drinks warm and flat and come from a large bottle, but charged at very large prices. Food was extremely bland and to rate it as the best ever really is an insult to the other restaurants in St helens. I have had far better quality from many a takeaway. We eat out as a family at least once a week so my advice to anyone who hasnt been to Mr Chans before is dont bother.
Mr Chans – St.HelensAbsolutely disgusting experience. From the quality of the food to the managers attitude. My partner and I where looking forward to trying out the world Buffett experience as we dine in the plaza often and had never tried this, I can honestly say we will never return as the food wasn't good enough to give a dog. When we where asked about the service we said it wasn't the best .The waiter then asked if we would like to speak to a manager who then came over to the table and was very confrontational. When we asked for the bill he threw it down and walked away didn't even apologise. Absolute rip off and totally let down.
Ocean World Buffet & Bar – SouthportI'm a regular customer at hong sing the food is lovely, very clean an fresh an the staff are very friendly the kids love going too .
Hong Sing – St.HelensWOW, THE FOOD IS FAB from here, check it out this is the nicest food i have ever had, super tasty and you just want more and more .
Raggas Caribbean Cafe & Takeaway – Liverpool City Centrewent to the Palace Balti at the weekend on recommendation from friends. We were definitely not disappointed. Food was delicious and staff extremely friendly. Would highly recommend.
Palace Balti Tandoori – St.HelensBeen going here for a few years and thought it was an OK restaurant. However, went this weekend and found all the food luke warm and the spring rolls and prawn toast tasted like they had been re-heated from the previous day. When I went to the manageress and said that the food was not hot enough, she said that they "change the water in the heaters on a Friday night so the food isn't usually hot enough until 2pm on the Saturday" - they open at 11.30am and she showed no remorse for the fact that anyone eating between 11.30am and 2pm on a Saturday will be eating cold food. She offered me a bottle of water as an apology (no, I'm not joking!). The Real China needs to be very careful, there are many other restaurants around them. The food they served was extremely poor and I will not be going there again. Sorry Real China, but if you had only appeared remorseful for the awful food me and my family had eaten, I may have given you a second chance, but you didn't care - good luck, you'll need it!!
The Real China – SouthportI recently visited this gem on Smithdown Road and was blown away, I had read some good reviews about the place, but upon arrival, the place was empty (which was such a shame). I chose off the Vegetarian / vegan menu, a selection of vegetarian dishes served on injera bread. The owner explained Eritrean cuisine and offered me a free sample of Honey Wine. The food was very clean and fresh and the owner explained the coffee ritual which I will certainly try next time I am there. Please promote this place and visit it.
Selam Cafe – Wavertreefantastic thats all i can say great food ,great decor and the food is cooked in front of you to add a bit of theatrics great night out
The Sheesh Turkish BBQ Restaurant – St.HelensFood and service very good (a dining experience of top quality you will be impressed)
Spice Brasserie – Mossley HillAfter waiting for 1 hour 15 mins for our starter to arrive - decided we would leave with a our food as a take away,Food was vey average
Elaichi – West DerbyA Liverpool legend. I have been going to Ma Bo for over 35 years. I have recently started returning on business and can therefore charge any siz e of bill. However, its the best alternative to being at home and i walk past many expensive restaurants to get there. I thus charge my expenses about £15 a time. If you eat once in Liverpool make it Ma Bo. From the wonderful duck prepared at the front to the cracking noodles it is all good. Cheaper than a trip to China!
Ma Bo Restaurant – Liverpool City Centreadvertises full english, turned up 11.30 on a Saturday to be told "no eggs and no bacon"! OMG -typical St Helen (Asda is all of 2 mins away)
Caffe Roma – St.HelensMy boyfriend and I went for a meal here on saturday night. We turned up and there were only 3 tables eating. Now know why! I would strongly advise you have a serious think before wasting your money here. The food was the most unauthentic italian food we have ever head - it was worse than something I would make at home! The bruschetta was soggy and the pizza barealy had any meat on it. I asked for spicy meatballs and they tasted bought and had no flavour whatsoever! It wasnt good value for money as the quality of food was so appauling. I would rather cook myself than eat here. The toilets were dirty and had empty toilet rolls lying around and the restaurant itself was filthy - there were cobwebs on the floor under our table. The only good point was the service - the manager and staff were friendly and polite, but that is all this place has going for it! I have never written a review before for a restaurant but I feel so strongly that I dont even think this place should call itself a restaurant!
Came to try here after friends recommendation, `yes its a nice ambience, friendly staff and really nice food. As a confirmed curry head I tried some of the Nepalese dishes they offer, starter was a mixed kebab splendid and unusual followed by a Lamb chop dish marinated in wine and cooked in a special source, no curry in it at all but lovely spicy hot sauce, really enjoyed them, my friend had lemon chicken which he enjoyed. The Peshwari nan was absolutely excellent, the nicest I have had in many a year. Try the unusual Indian dessert, like a hot jelly in a rosewater syrup. really yummy ! All in all a very enjoyable feast. Definitely going on the Yes List !
Saffron – Waterloodidnt have good experience were not told on arrival we could not order from live bar until 3pm if we had been informed we would have returned at 3 we noticed that another customer had had the chefs make him pizza from live bar so dont understand that my husband got some chicken tikka masala from buffet but very little chicken in sauce left we asked chefs if they would be replenishing same they said yes they were making it as we spoke still had not been replenished some time later we gave up waiting and left a shame because it was the nicest food available from buffet
