A real pub with lots of character and great service. Ale is great and so is the food with friendly staff. If you like an old pub and not these modern ones, you will like the White Horse.

1st class food with 5 star service, we always go.

Thanks to all the staff for making my birthday a special night. there was 22 people in our party all commented on the great food and entertainment on the night. I have been here before a good few years ago and forgot what a great night it can be. All my friends were up for a party and Blundell street didn't let us down. If you are looking for a place to stay all night this is the place. One small thing other places I have been too allow you to put beer on the table in buckets for the lads as well as the wine for the girls, just something for Ann the manager to look into. I booked for 17 people for my 70th birthday with my twin brothers ho is physically disabled I had travelled from Australia for this occasion. We couldn't have been treated any better than we were, the staff where great we went to the bar and got taper own drinks as it was quite a busy night for a Monday. Didn't have to wait to long for meals and all our guest enjoyed what they had. I rang up to see if they would make a birthday cake but they don't do that but the girl I spoke to offered to buy one for me from Tescos as I didn't have transport to shop around. I thought that was lovely and good PR for the Stag and Rainbow. The cake was lovely and all in all we had a fabulous night I have been there before and I am coming to UK Christmas and going to book for Christmas lunch Keep up the god work, Regards Joan.

Went to Gusto last Sunday and the food, atmosphere, service was excellent. Will def re visit when we are next in Liverpool.

We went for a meal here last weekend for the first time with our children to celebrate exam results and absolutely adored it . Food excellent staff wonderful could not wait to go back, so we did this weekend with friends and again had a fabulous time. Cannot recommend this place highly enough .

Went this eve for my birthday meal, 30.9. However, after Nicolas being recommended by a few of my customers, I have to disagree. I ordered the mussels in garlic and white wine sauce, I expected at least a finger dip bowl with bread. No. I had to ask for bread, and the sauce was dreadful, Elmea reduced. It did not get better. I asked for a bribery med, knowing that places undercooked, I got . A bribery rare to med rare, which is actually what I wanted, good job, hey We did complain nicely, and they did reduce the bill. However, when using get one night off per month, and a birthday eve, it is not acceptable. No, I would not recommend, or try again. Very poor.

Meal deal was terrible value - £5.95 for half a tub of curry sauce (and that's being generous), a tub of rice, and a naan. I phoned up to complain but was told this was standard. Plus the korma sauce was disgusting - it just tasted like condensed milk- far too sweet. Really disappointing and a waste of £12. Will not be going again.

Visited the Eastern Diner this bank holiday weekend 2014. It has been refurbished since we were last here. The food and service still as fantastic as ever. A thoroughly brilliant evening. Well worth a visit.

Go to this place quite alot, food fantastic, staff go out of their way make you feel welcome. Top place, if you not been try it, you won't regret it .

I think it is a lovely chippy and the food is amazing. But I think that you shouldn't put onions and mushrooms in the gravy because anyone could be allergic to it.

Met up with freinds I hadn't seen for 25 years and they wanted to eat , I suggest we try here as I had heard good things , and a big thank you , as you didn't let me down. Everyone was very pleased , so the good word will be speed around Belfast , thanks again .

We found this pub on our 2nd day, glad we did excellent 2 for 1 deals on food and drinks. £8.45 for 2 meals and 6.95 for a full size bottle of Hardy Roseau wine. Many other deals on beers, cider etc. Staff extremely friendly quick to point out money saving options meals served promptly after ordering at bar lots of cheap childrens meal deals as well. Pub has sky sports and screens all the big matches, clean friendly spacious atmosphere we would definitely recommend a visit! Brenda and Stevie from Northern Ireland
