Zen is a brilliant restaurant with brilliant expectations,makes a perfect night out or just a quiet meal out.

My partner and I went to this shambles of a restaurant last night, the food was terrible for starter my partner had mushroom soup and she said it seemed like it was out of a tin, we had duck for main and it was so hard the knife could barely cut through it, we then reluctantly asked for dessert hoping for some remittance but after asking for the creme brulee and crepes, after 5 minutes of thinking we would be getting food soon a waiter came to tell us there was no creme brulee and we would have to have something else, we changed that for profiteroles, it was all rubbish, the price was nearly £60, i was grinding my teeth whilst paying through them for a car crash of a tea, still one thing i could say good for them is that the complimentary fruit salad sweets at the end were very nice

Had Banquet last night - not been for a few years - well worth going.Lovely tasty food, service very good, friendly polite waiting on staff . Restaurant full - lovely fishtank in foyer.Will go again.

we bought a groupon and tried to book a weekend table as voucher stated 7days no exclusions. Phones three weeks in a row and they said because of the voucher we couldn't book peak times. Really really rude telephone manner and as a result groupon or not we will NOT be dining there

well, they have the worst service ever. i went there with my wife and the waiter wanted to seat us on a table with plastic tree occupying most of it. we refused then we were seated in a better table. my wife ordered a coke, it was flat. we asked if they can change it, they did but i saw him pouring half of it in a new glass and add a fresh Coke to this half.

Ate here recently wow lovely place huge menu and not to pricey good food and good service will be going back soon

without a doubt Liverpool's Indian gem..we eat here almost on all special occasions now. The food is gorgeous the staff are friendly and helpful. The menu is varied and your not rushed-its bliss

We went to Lunya for Coffee and Cake one afternoon. Excellent Cafe con leche and the Tarte de Santiago was heavenly, but the real draw was the chocolate truffle stuffed fig!! Divine! I would recommend this friendly restaurant as the atmosphere was calm and staff attentive and food so heavenly we went back the next week!

Been 3 times had mixed grill on all occasions planning on going valentines night, the meal not that filling for a hungry tiger like myself so i prefer spare rib starter and a boiled rice side order with the main meal, my wife goes for spaghetti, which she says is lovely think il go for a sea food dish on my next visit. keep up the good work

Visiting the game bird is always an experience great food and most importantly there is always a friendly one to one welcome just love going there.

my friends and i after few drinks we wanted some real food and went to yiamas for some Greek food after we went to Greece on holidays and had a good time we thought to give it a go and try the local Greek cuisine and what a great time we had the food was to be honest better than greece .the atmosphere the service everything was like you were back in greece. please go and try the best .stars ***** opa yiamas.the only greek word i know.

went there for the first time last night, food wonderful, staff attentive without being pushy, will definitely be going again.

If you want to visit a restaurant with excellent food, attentive staff, a great atmosphere in lovely surroundings, you need to pay a visit to Yiamas Greek Taverna. I have been a regular for a few years now and can't recommend it highly enough.....try it for yourself :-)

Fantastic place, we've been going there for years and had our Wedding reception there which totally made our day. All of our family and friends where very impressed with the food and friendly service Excellent service everytime, beautiful food, great value for money never been disappointed and it does not feel like you're in birkenhead at all. Would highly recommend an absolute gem of a restaurant

I have been twice now on week nights and both evenings were busy but it wasn't a problem to get a table. the staff are very friendly, sometimes the service i.e. ordering extra drinks or waiting for the bill was a little slow ,however the food arrived promptly and was EXCELLENT. The decor is simple, comfortable and clean, parking is right outside. Overall highly recommended.
