Panoramic 34 – Liverpool City CentreThis restaurant is phenomenal. The food is out of this world, really good value for money, fantastic quality, and for all the males in our family massive portions. The early bird menu is really good value. We regularly go for family occasions but is equally suited to a meal for 2. Just be careful your eyes aren't bigger than your stomachs!!! The staff are brilliant, so helpful and chatty, and know to leave you be when needed. Would recommend to all
Greek Taverna – Waterloogreat food at Monro - took fussy friends for a meal there - they loved it, will be going back again. The posh fish and chips are the very, very best I have ever tasted! staff are so friendly.
The Monro – Liverpool City Centregreat food, great service, lovely staff,on the whole a very enjoyable evening, see u soon
Spire – WavertreeI can only repeat and emphasise the positive comments from other diners. This was my 1st visit on Saturday 12th April for a friend's 40th Birthday. All of our group without exception, thoroughly enjoyed the food, service, atmosphere and all round good feeling about this place. You will not be disappointed, but remember to book in advance, even in you want to dine here midweek. I will be going back very soon.... A++++++
Tapas Tapas – WaterlooMe and my family have been going to Rui's for many years and we just keep coming back. Its a little hidden gem, Dont be put off by appearance from outside, it is a small restaurant but is always busy, the staff are lovely the food is delicious. I have been to many countries and fantastic restaurants and Rui's is on top par with them all. Try the pollo alla crema, you wont regret it!
Ruis – Bootlevisited Antonelli's last night with party of three. Service was ok but food was disappointing - very bland and greasy. Vegetables were cold and rock hard. Bit of concern that the desert trolley with uncovered/unchilled fresh cakes sat in the main dining room - is this hygienic?
Pietra Bar and Restaurant – WaterlooThis is a really special restaurant. The service from all the staff is exemplary. The food - well it just speaks for itself. Although it is a large room, it is nicely furnished and decorated, with some interesting art, that changes periodically. The menu is a rich mix of traditional favourites - Chicken Tikka masala, lamb Rogan Josh and the like, to some really exciting departures involving duck, monkfish and tuna. The staff will help you to decide and offer all sorts of 'off menu' variations of you are struggling / willing to experiment. The side dishes are well worth trying. There is a fairly extensive wine menu which is reasonably priced.
Blue Mango Restaurant – PrescotSpent a lovely weekend in liverpool attracted to the cultural year and was recommend to go to Surfers by our lovely Guest House (peel hay) Host Ken. The atmosphere at Surfers was lively crossing the generations whilst still attracting a large number of young people wanting a romantic night out. The night we went the owner Jane had launched the new eating concept of "the hot rock" (a super heated piece of granite where the meat arrives at your table ready for you to cook en place). My over all impression was that this was generally a great idea but perhaps slightly novel and I would need to be convinced by the demonstration of an artful waiter that there was something more to it. The roast lamb did taste very succulent and I enjoyed being able to cook the meat as I preferred. My friend had a huge plate of ribs which seemed to have a sauced which was slightly over sweet. I did think that perhaps the restaurant could slim down the vast menu and concentrate on a key number of dishes which would allow them to do exceptionally well. The service could not be faulted and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Astoria – West KirbyI used to enjoy Tavern & Co but recently service has been very poor and food is always late, and often cold/incomplete. I can only speak for allerton branch but I would not recommend it.
Tavern Co – WavertreeA truly good night good food and service at a fantastic price of £10.95 for 3 course. The only criticism would be that the tables are to close together.
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City Centreup here on business and staying at the hope street hotel, but friends told me if i did not mind a drive out of town city then this is the place to eat,had a superb evening food and one glass of wine was superb. next time I'm up this end i will get a taxi so i can do the wine list some justice it deserves
Spire – Wavertreesuperb all round evening on my door step, spire is a great venue for all occasions, best book though even a rainy tuesday to cheer me up was nearly full,i have a number of favourite restaurants in merseyside and this is one of them...........paul.....allerton
Spire – WavertreeAppaling.... One of the worst meals I have ever been ripped off for... The "chef" wants to get back to cooking school...if he ever went in the first place... Overpriced garbage.. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK !!!!
The Game Bird – St.Helensgreat 3 days at the races topped of with a great evening on saturday at spire.....2nd year we have been, see u all next year.
