We went to La Vina Saturday afternoon, 17th March around 4.00 p.m. My partner had passed by the restaurant a few times during her lunch breaks in the City centre and had remarked how lovely it looked inside so we decided to try it out. We were shown straight away to a cosy table for two by the window. Our waiter introduced himself and began explaining the menu which we thought was really helpful and impressive. We decided on a shared meat platter for two with a couple of sides from the Tapas menu. The food was very good with ample servings. We had a couple of Spanish beers with the meal and finished off with a glass of Sangria each. We were too full to manage desert. We stayed for over 90 mins and never felt rushed at all even though the restaurant was starting to fill up with early evening diners. Overall we had a superb dining experience. The food and service was excellent and we would go back again and try something else from the very varied menu.

After a few years since the last visit it was like we'd never been away! Food was excellent, service as good as ever & the prices are still incredibly reasonable. This is a thoroughly enjoyable night out & i would recommend it to anyone whether its a cosy two people or a large group. A credit to the owners, don? miss out!

we decided to go to b,jacques to celebrate a birth day booked in advance ,had a very good time its a busy place ,will be returning again well done bistro,jacques.

we went to the weld for a family birthday on the 18.03.07. the food was excellent especially for the price you pay. the service was great, the young waitresses, alex and ashley really looked after us as did the manager, anthony, who was very helpful and nothing was to much for the staff. we would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for great service and value for money.

I have been going to this restaurant for 10 years or more. I believe this restaurant to be the best in Liverpool, the food is spot on and the fact that you can bring your own drinks is unheard of. You can certainly tell that this establishment is family run and the food is lush. I personally recommend the Lamb Chop starter and both the Karahi Chicken or Lamb dishes. My cousin would also recommend the cheese naan. I hope you all find this useful... Thanks keep up the good work Bash and your team.

This is just a fun place to be and to eat. The menus are always interesting and the staff have become our friends. What more is there to say?

this is a great new 'indian' has opened recently next door to sainsburys in prenton. i say 'indian' but this is something different. they serve south indian food from kerala. much lighter than you're average curry house and much much tastier! go try it now!!

I have been to Il Forno on many occasions. The staff are very friendly. Especially the owner, Vince. He always makes sure i have the best quality food served to me and ensures that i have top service. This is one of the best restaurants i have been to. I highly recommend. Thanks Vince and Gianluca

This place continues to woo me back on a regular basis. Been loads a times and never been disappointed. Everything is so fresh, house salads are great and the king prawn kebabs are to die for. These tapas are better than anything you can get in Spain never mind Liverpool. Keep up the good work

Kimos is my favourite restaurant in Liverpool. Reasonably priced, amazing food, great atmosphere- couldn't be a better place. I love it there.

I had a great night here with my girlfriends. The food was superb and the staff all very friendly, but not in your face. The wine selection was good and not too expensive, and we had a lovely house special coffee to finish. Top marks to Antonelli's

took my family for a meal there was 15 of us, service was superb nothing was too much for the staff. food was great and no wait considering the restaurant was full. i normally go to the carvery in ainsdale but dont think i will bother going there again.

We eat here lots of times. The food is always exceptionally good, with a great choice on the menu. The staff are very friendly and always welcoming.

Quality food for good prices. I often go after a game of golf and can cost as little as £5 for a roast dinner.

I have been a few times and the food have always been to salty, specially the tomato dishes. Other then that its a great place to go if u like picking.

My wife and I visited the Knightsbridge restaurant on sunday evening for the carvery dinner. We were both impressed with the quality of food on the menu. In my experience hotel restaurant food tends to be rather bland, but this was not the case at the Scarisbrick. We also thought the interior of the restaurant was very welcoming, and the service was of a high quality. We will certainly be visiting the Knightsbridge again!

We went to The Royal Oak for Christmas Dinner and it was fantastic, so we decided to go back for valentines day. The offer was fantastic £39.95 for 4 courses included in there '241' offer. They had a good entertainer and candles on every table which really set the mood. would recommend to anyone!

Had Sunday lunch for three people - excellent food and unbelievably good value. It is the first time in England for many years that we have eaten out and felt that we were enjoying a truly continental experience - good food, well cooked and presented yet also inexpensive. The key is that the all inclusive menu is very well planned - a small number of dishes but covering a wide enough range to ensure something for everyone. The portions were just right as well - without that ridiculous over facing that seems to pass for a good meal in some places. Here the courses were just right and complimented each other perfectly! A really pleasant eating out experience. Would recommend it without any hesitation
