We stumbled across this place quite by chance and I'm so glad we did! The atmosphere is very laid back and the place is decorated traditionally with an almost gothic feel. The food was great with chalked specials boards. Love it! Might even go back this afternoon!

The best night out in Liverpool went for my birthday and was overawed by the place itself and the attentiveness of the staff, decor has to be seen to be believed definitely the jewel in Liverpool? crown !

When visiting my mother-in-law in Liverpool we visited this wonderful restaurant in a former bank. The food was fantastic and the service even better - the hostess went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Highly recommended.

As a Mancunian visiting Liverpool this recommendation must count for something! The service was very good; the attitude of the staff is the thing that sets this restaurant apart from other restaurants of similar nature. In my experience the staff were very busy but still friendly, courteous and helpful. Restaurant lay out good, food good, and parking good. Well worth a visit, I'll be making a second one.

The best ribs in all merseyside

Went to Alma de Cuba on Saturday night, the atmosphere was amazing, perfect for a sociable, relaxed evening. Words cannot describe the setting you basically have to see it to believe it!! Highly recommended!

Went for Sunday Brunch and waited nearly 45 minutes for our food. When it came it was nice but the amount of time we waited would put us off going again.

Quite simply the best restaurant in Liverpool by mile! The food outstanding and service outstanding and couldnt believe how reasonable the bill came to. What a find! Cant wait to go again...... Pizza next time, the real wood burning oven was like a tomb! And made the whole restaurant smell beautiful.

Excellent meal with fantastic homemade pasta. Only problem was it was very busy so service was fairly slow. If you're going to the Phil for a concert, book early enough to allow time to get there!

I have just visited Casa Mia with my boyfriend. We both had a lovely meal and thought the service was very good, the staff were also very friendly, we will definitely be returning in the future.

The biggest disappointment about Owens restaurant is they allow people to smoke and because the tables are in close proximity their is no escape if some ignorant person on the next table lights up a cigarette.The sooner the manager makes this a non smoking restaurant the better.

What a really nice place, went today with my mum, I had cannelloni and mum had del secolo I with Parma ham and mushrooms. One of the best meals I have had in a restaurant in a long time. The service is really good without being "in your face". Would recommend to anyone.

Super deals at lunchtimes, even at weekends. I have been disappointed with the a la carte menu compared with the inclusive lunch menus. The desserts are often fabulous and the artwork on the walls is distinctive. Worth a visit.
