excellent food at a decent price. By far the best Greek restaurant in liverpool
Zorbas – Liverpool City Centrewe decided to eat on a Saturday evening. My husband attempted to get served at the bar for drinks and was surrounded by people complaining about lack of staff and the state of the bar area. He eventually got our drinks and we had a nice meal until staff started moving tables due to a group playing there....staff should warn customers about this before they commit themselves to spending hard earned cash on what we thought would be a quiet meal...
Acorn Hotel – HeswallI have had the pleasure of eating at the Ruan Thai a dozen or so times over the past several months. The food on every occasion has been nothing short of delicious, a real treat. The Thai staff are absolutely delightful and friendly although not overly attentive. A small but excellent restaurant owned and operated by Thais serving authentic Thai fayre. Bon Vivant
Ruam Thai – St.HelensDecent authentic Spanish food with a very good menu. I found the restaurant rather cramped and the service not as attentive as it could have been. We also felt rushed to leave - to be honest it was a Saturday evening but I would have thought after spending £133.90 on a meal for 2 we would not have been rushed out at 9.15 within 10 mins of finishing our desert. That spoiled what otherwise would have been a very enjoyable meal. Bon Vivant
La Casa Vieja – St.HelensExcellent food, good service & very clean.Going again tonight yum yum
Villa Romana – Liverpool City CentreThe food was tremounsly good. Have been to many Chinese restaurant, and this definitely one of the best. Ask the owner to recommend if you are spoilt with so many choices in the menu. Could be crowded on weekends.
Yuet Ben – Liverpool City CentreExcellent little Restaurant with Great Atmosphere.
Jalons – WavertreeCouldn't believe my eyes when the food was brought to our table. We've paid 10 times more for 10 times less. We went back the following week and it was the same! Excellent and thoroughly recommended.
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreThis is one of the few restaruants where price really justifies the meal. This family-run restaurant is a must for anyone who loves, or wants to try, authentic Spanish food. You simply can't find any other place in the Merseyside area making the same tapas, mains and desserts. During our last visit we enjoyed a selection of tapas that were incredibly varied and delicious, from grilled sardines to patatas bravas, skewered monkfish wrapped in savory ham, and crusty bread served with garlic aoili. You'll be spoiled for choice with desserts - favourites are the Spanish bread pudding and an assortment of HOME MADE ICECREAM, HOME MADE fruit ices and lovely fresh fruit. This place is well worth the visit. Give yourself a treat, and give it a try. You will not be disappointed. No, I don't work for them, or owe them a favour - just love good food!
La Casa Vieja – St.HelensAlways a good place to have a relaxing night out with my girlfriend. We both find the food and service to be very good. Not only is it a good place to take your partner, it is also a good place for groups of people.
Knightsbridge Restaurant – SouthportI HAVE BEEN VISITING THE EASTERN DINER AT LEAST ONCE PER MONTH SINCE IT OPENED. I CAN HONESTLY SAY THE FOOD HAS ALWAYS BEEN EXCEPTIONAL , I WOULD NEVER GO TO ANY OTHER RESTAURANT IN LIVERPOOL FOR CHINESE. IT IS EVIDENT THAT THE HIGHEST QUALITY INGREDIENTS ARE USED, AND THE STAFF ARE ALWAYS VERY ATTENTIVE. 10 OUT OF 10
Eastern Diner – Mossley HillExcellent, a nice cozy restaurant, hidden away in Bromborough. The food was gorgeous, ENORMOUS portions - couldn't eat it all though we tried! Friendly staff. Food was out of this world, I had the tuna salad for starter, Chicken Roberto for main course (fabulous!) and their home made tiramisu for desert! My boyfriend had the crostini to start, penne arrabiata for main course and their home made icecream for dessert (heavenly!) We had a bottle of house wine and a couple of coffees. Including a tip it came to £40 I think they have a website www.romagna.co.uk
Roberto’s Italian Restaurant – HeswallThe chicken fajitas are a MUST! Steak n' lobster tail was excellent. Meal was very well presented and the restaurant has a fantastic array of cocktails. Damon's is also very child friendly.
Damons – Mossley HillI have eaten here many times and the food is absolutely wonderful. I have also taken my ten month old daughter who was very well catered for and the staff could not do enough for us! "The Marsh Cat" is also in a beautiful position and dining here is something to look forward to, always.
Marsh Cat Restaurant – HeswallI went with my italian girlfriend for a quiet meal, the food was good, the manager started talking in italian to my girlfriend then showed her the kitchen and offered her a job, i was sitting there gob smacked, bloody hell dident expect this, how ever he was friendly and staff effiecient recommend it but dont speak italian for god's sake
I dont often go to indians, but this one caught my eye. The service was excellent, the waiters were very well manered and chatty, which is always nice. I dont favour indian cusines, but i must say i was absolutly delisious!! I had king prawns and curry i was well worth it. Magis Spice is quite different to other indians is very welcoming, and they also do magic tric and you also gey a balloon especislly made for you, i got a a parrot in a heart which was sooo sweet. I have been back many times and have been welcomed with the same warmth every time. I definatly recomend it to fans of indian cusine and to people who may be new to it. 10 out of 10!
Magic Spices – WallaseyThe best restaurant in Liverpool.
60 Hope Street – Liverpool City CentreI brought visiting colleagues from Genoa here. At first they were reluctant to come (like taking coal to Newcastle) but were extremely glad they did. They were astonished at the whole experience and now recommend that their colleagues in Genoa should visit Villa Romana when they have business at Marconi in Liverpool. A definite hit!
