Lings on Kings – SouthportThought this place was really good at first sight. However when the food arrived wasnt too pleased. My Garlic Chicken was cold and the garlic was burnt leaving a fairly bitter taste. However the mushroom pillau was nice.
Indian Delight – Liverpool City CentreWe were very welcomed when we went into "Othellos" and that continues all through the evening. Their was a wide variety of greek and mediteranian food and also a choice of steaks if preffered. The cost was pricey for our first time but it was quaility service
Othellos – WooltonFab, fab, fab! We went for a leaving do and without asking they put us in their new suite which was a wonderful and thoughtful touch There was no problem with choice, quality or service and the great food was complimented with lashings of quality wine which we got cheaper by ordering ahead. I think "they've got there!" and we're definately going back.
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreA great addition to the Liverpool restaurant scene- Fantastic food, and the staff were great. Have been waiting for a restaurant like this in Liverpool for years
The London Carriage Works – Liverpool City Centrelovely little restaurant
Ruis – BootleThis is an excellent restaurant - but they need to get the service sorted out. We went for lunch today, arriving at 10 to 2, knowing we had to be away for 3.45pm. We ordered the dessert at 3.25, but by 3.45 it still hadn't arrived - so had to leave it. If we hadn't had such a long wait for two cold starters... However, the restaurant is excellent and the food superb - I hope they will sort the service out,
The London Carriage Works – Liverpool City CentreThe food was brilliantly arranged and tasted great. Our meals came quickly and tasted fantastic. The staff were efficient and helpful.
Modo – Liverpool City CentreThe best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.
Dr Duncans – Liverpool City Centrebrillient definatly the best chinese on the wirral
Oriental Delight – Heswallit was good but going in a large group done us no favours!
A wonderful experience - Very relaxed with lovely decor. There's a comfortable but trendy bar to meet in before/after dining. Food delicious and Service great - would definitely go back
Ziba Restaurant and Bar – Liverpool City CentreMore of an adult restaurant than Pizza Hut, quick service and nice atmosphere. Good for couples.
Pizza Express – Southportservice was acceptable but occasionally overheard staff gossiping about other staff and what they did at weekends. service ok once got staff attention.
Derby Pool Harvester – Wallaseybuongiorno!!!!
Ristorante Italia – HeswallPleased in general! Well done Damons, ill be back very soon.
Damons – Mossley HillOne of Southports better Indian Restaurants, but could now do with a "makeover" The food is usually very good, but the decor is looking a bit tired and the portions appear to be getting smaller or is it just familiarity breeding contempt? Service always friendly but slow if they are half full or beyond. I hasten to add that there is not a great deal wrong with Lalqila that a kick in the Managerial pants wouldn`t cure and it wouldn`t take a lot to make what has become a good Restaurant , a great Restaurant once more.
Taj Mahal – SouthportThis was a Restaurant that we expected to shine, the location is good, down by the Park and parking easy, the Restaurant inside has a pleasant air to it and unfortunately, when we went, they were quite busy. The service was extremely slow andgave the impression that they were doing you a favour serving you. When we did eventually get started I have to admit that the food was quite good, but with a long wait in between courses it made the evening drag on. At the end of the night there were no complaints about the food but the bill was a different matter. The drinks prices were -- well -- pricey to say the least. I`d like to try it when they are not so busy, but won`t rush back.
