The food was below average and was incredibly expensive. Not worth it don’t bother.

Service was very slow. The food was not value for money. Patatas bravas tasted and looked like cheap frozen roast potatoes from a pack. Rest of food also average. Servers plesant. Would not return or recommend.

We had a brilliant time. The menu is refreshing, original and genuinely exciting. We both had the Thali and there was such a range on each plate with diverse curries, Dhal and the roti was brilliant. We loved the Indian Turkish fusion.

Not a great experience. Greeting was curt - yes we had a booking. We were shown to a table near the door which was freezing. It took us ages to find somebody to take our order. We then moved to another table which was tiny but warmer. Slightly too loud Christmas music. Our food came in dribs and drabs, and was okay, but not great. We had to ask for the bill several times. The whole thing was quite slow and made us late for our afternoon meetings. The staff looked stressed, I really can’t recommend this place.

We had a great time. Staff were so friendly and attentive. Pizza has rave reviews from the group and the quiz was really fun. Thanks all.

Unfortunately not a great experience as the land lord informed us that food is no longer served. It was a quite loud and persons couldn't hear themselves. Service was very slow and when I explained we had a booking the land lord said we no longer serve food and it needs taking of the system.

Visited here for the prawns & margarita deal! I was very impressed, food was really good fresh & hot! Staff were really attentive & kept our drinks & prawns constantly coming.

We had a fantastic family dinner at Mona's — delicious food, a great mix of options, and genuinely friendly service by a lovely staff. The atmosphere was bright and welcoming, and every dish we tried was full of flavour. Already looking forward to coming back! Highly recommended!

Fantastic family-run restaurant on High Street Whetstone ! I highly recommend Matthews Kitchen , the food is on another level. The fish is incredibly fresh, the happy hours cocktails was delicious and the staff were so helpful and caring, making sure we enjoyed every moment. We had cocktails (fantastic!) and a lovely bottle of Albariño, which was a very good choice. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Thank you, Matthews Kitchen! We will definitely be coming again and recommending you to others.

Exceptional food and service. Thanks Coleen. Wish we lived closer. I would go every week!!! Waited 3 years to get back and wasn’t disappointed. Definitely making the 3 hour train and 40 min tube journey sooner rather than later Xxx

Amazing!! Margs were spicier than the prawns but that wasn't a bad thing! Everything was lush and we were well tended to. Decent size, juicy prawns and tasty drinks which were kept topped up constantly, we didn't need to ask once. Great start to my birthday, thank you ladies!! Will definitely be back.
