Hawksmoor – East LondonWOW! I have never been disappointed in Patara! I just dont get why people have Chinese when Thai is SOO much better!
Patara – Chelsea and West BromptonThis restaurant has to be one of the best dining experiences in the whole of soho, and there's plenty to choose from. The quality of the food and attentiveness of the staff equals eating pleasure that? unrivalled.. Its open kitchen gives you a real flavour for the food before its served and the whole place is very intimate perfect for 2. This place is set over 2 floors and is a feast to the eyes and will leave you totally satisfied.
Mediteranean Cafe – SohoWOW! I had never tried goat before but there curried goat was spectacular!
Mango Room – Camden TownI've been eating at Food for Thought, Covent Garden for over twenty years, and I could happily eat there every day if I could! Though small and sometimes a bit cramped, the food is excellent - always fresh, always new menus. This is the only restaurant where I have always totally enjoyed whatever I've eaten. It is by far the most imaginative vegetarian restaurant I've been to. I'm so happy they've never changed their basic format, queue up down the narrow stairs, and get a table after you?e gotten your food - because it's still so reasonably priced, affordable, and nourishing. I could eat their stir fry veg and rice every day, though I am also tempted by the delicious quiches, not to mention the various specials of the day. I hope I will still be eating there when I'm old!
Food For Thought – HolbornA very good and noisy lunch time restaurant in the Sq mile Getting into the seat is for the dexterous, the food is always fresh and the presentation very good. The service is very quick even when full. Not a place for a romantic lunch/dinner as you need to shout to be heard
Tokyo City – CityThis is by far the best and most authentic Bangladeshi restaurant in the entire UK. It might be small, it might not have any frills but it is the best taste of Bangladesh you can have. It might not be right for those who want to have Bangladeshi food without the spices, flavours, and hot chillies. If you are looking for an English version of Bangladeshi food then go to any Indian or Bangladeshi restaurant. If you are keen to taste the Bangladeshi food like the "Machhe Bhate Bangali" eat then please go to GramBangla. I love GramBangla. It brings my childhood back to me; it reminds me of my family and Maa back in Bangladesh. It reminds me of the cuisines at villages in Bangladesh. You must go and have a taste at this place. Grambangla Restaurant – East LondonRelaxing atmosphere, friendly waiters, our family have used this restaurant for years, last there on Mothers birthday in August, going again on Saturday.
Zeo’s – BloomsburyVery impressed with the food. Service was fine. Price was slightly above average for pub grub, but it was definitely worth it as this particular Mayfair pub has an understated and underlying feeling (and taste) of quality. Would gladly recommend.
Running Horse, The – MayfairPERFECT
Desperados – IslingtonMy love of Japanese food led me to try Ozu restaurant recently. After dining at the likes of Zuma and Roka I was keen to try Ozu which claimed to be of the high same standard, and to my delight I was not disappointed. There was a fantastic balcony which overlooked the River Thames, and the venue itself was very beautiful with simple décor. I enjoyed a delicious 2 course meal which included a tasty Clam and sake starter and a Mackerel braised in Miso main course. I was keen to go for the dessert but there was just no room. The staff were very friendly and very attentive. I had a delightful evening here at Ozu and although the prices certainly weren? cheap the meals were definitely worth splashing out a little more for.
Ozu – South LondonA very lively and seemingly popular place to dine. Food was excellent along with the service. Might be best to book a table as early evening is very busy but you can always have a margarita at the bar while you wait for a table!
Foundation – HolbornBest pizza restaurant in London bar none. My Italian friends regularly travel all the way from Hampstead to go here. Sell pizzas by the 25cm. I've no idea what they do to get them to taste so good (is it special mozzarella) but they really are fantastic. Check 'em out, you won't be disappointed
Pizza Metro Pizza – South LondonI have been eating at La Genova on and off for just under 40 years. They always give wonderful service and the food is sublime. I always go there on high days and holidays, not everyday. This way it is a treat for me and a wonderful way of meeting up with old friends.
