Food was excellent - tastiest steak ever! However, the staff need a shake up! We were subjected to rudeness because we couldn't order via the app (no signal on our phone and wifi useless!). Then we were charged over £7 more than we should have been and was told a couple of lies rather than accept it was wrong (one that we can't have the steak and wine deal when we are ordering kids meals (paid full price for kids meals from kids menu?!!!) and when queried, was treated like an idiot! Great food, great place, need new serving staff!

We went on a Sunday & expected to see Sunday lunch on the menu but no. The portions were a good size but my mum's lamb chops were overcooked & dry. The tables were way to close to each other so we asked to be moved, that took them 10 mins to decide where too. On the desserts board spotted dick was advertised, I asked if it was proper with suet but no, it was in fact a sultana sponge!! So we won't be returning.

The meal was as fantastic as ever, thank you. I understand that these are different times but the young lad working there was so rude. At 9.30pm told my guest they cant have a coffee as they had switched the machine off and spoken in an aggressive tone of voice. Then announced 5 mins later that the doors were being locked in 10 mins like someone from the army. Really rude. If the food wasn't so good I wouldn't be going back.

Great food and great service, very well layer out to cohere with Covid rules . We really enjoyed a mixture of the tapas dishes and were thrilled with the good selection of vegetarian options! Very enjoyable and a lovely relaxed and cosy place to visit.

The food was excellent. Poor selection of alcohol free drinks. Need something more sophisticated than coke or lemonade such as elderflower presse.

Once again great food at great prices. Easy to use app to order food/drinks from yr table and pay. Tables well spaced and everyone wearing a mask whilst moving around, tables sanitised after use. Great!

We had a lovely meal - we thought the prices were reasonable. We understand prices have to go up - the hospitality trade have suffered over the last few months and have spent money so that they can adhere to Covid guidelines. We did struggle to find the wine in the drinks menu on the app - but were put right eventually - I had a pint of lager to start! The only negative was that our table hadn't 't been vacated when we arrived (on time). There were other spare tables but the young lad who greeted us at the door could make a decision as to where to put us. Overall we had a fab meal in a nice clean Covid safe environment.

Came for a meal for my daughters birthday. Was great to see how well they have responded to COVID guidelines, I loved the lack of contact with staff and ordering from an app was great. My only disappointment was the food. Burger was lovely but chips were old, tasted like they had been sitting out for a while and weren’t nice. My son had fish and chips and he said it was dry and over done but he had curly fries and they were ok. Such a shame as have always love this place and it’s such good value.

Prices have shot up and kid service has gone downhill. We have been going to eat at this pub for the last 4 years and it used to be fantastic.

Excellent food, great service, lovely staff food excellent .

We were welcomed by a very pleasant member of staff who told us the rules. We did feel a bit close to other tables and it did get busy. Two starters out of 4 came then there was a long wait for the other 2 then they came with 1 mains which we sent back Then we asked to make sure all mains came together which did happen but the food was not very hot and the mains that had been out earlier had been warmed through so a little disappointed .

Amazing staff, food was delicious, very welcoming, quick and efficient service!

Enjoyed the food but a couple of points to be made. with a chef special main course I would expect more veg than mashed potato and green beans of which my partner had twice as many as me. Also there was far too much gravy, with the food swimming in it. It was very tasty minty gravy. presentation not really up to scratch.
