Had a lovely meal last evening. The duck breast was fabulous and the sauce amazing. Generous portions of duck and vegetables. Always good service and reasonable prices. Thoroughly recommended.

We visited The Chequers on a weekend break having picked it following online research. We were not disappointed. Lovely warm welcome, busy so clearly popular. The service was first class, very friendly and efficient, the food was excellent with a good choice of menu options and was very good value for money. The sort of place we would use regularly if we lived in the area. Thoroughly recommendable.

As always we had a great, very reasonably priced meal at the Chequers Inn. We visit regularly and love it!

The best Italian restaurant there is, even the lasagne is better than our family traditional one, well done to you.

I cannot express how good this food is. I very rarely write reviews, but I feel these guys deserve the credit and for those of you who have never tried the Thai food at the Wheel Inn or indeed Thai food generally, please give these guys a go. You can eat in or take away, I do both. I visited Thailand in 93 and 94, but since then I have never found authentic tasting Thai food anywhere in the UK. Until now that is. Total quality of food, service and very very reasonably priced. I usually arrive a little early for my take away and have a quick pint, usually one of the guest ales, which are very pleasant indeed. Great pub, great food. There, I've done it. Review left. Enjoy....

We have just had the most incredible Thai meal at Krua Thai based at The Wheel Inn. Authentic Thai food and great service. An 11 piece gorgeous meal for 2 for under £15.00 a head. What we couldn't eat ( because the dishes just kept coming ) was plated up for us to take home.This gem was until today undiscovered by myself; not anymore. I highly recommend you get yourself there.

went to visit friends in lymington, popped in to lanes of lymington for a early dinner before going out, was about 6 45. was greeted by a lovely lady called Nicola who and her husband run this establishment, i had scallops which were very lovely cooked and moist followed by duck breast which was so succulent it was amazing and the way the food was presented it was fantastic. sorry was too full to try the sweets but by looking at the list was very good and all the ice creams are i believe home made m just wished i had more space to try them but really enjoyed the food , service and was not badly priced at all . so to the proprietors i take my hat off to you both was a very pleasant meal and thanks again really enjoyed it very much, and hope to be back that way soon

Very comprehensive and reasonably priced menu. We had one of the best Indian meals I can remember. Started with Quail and samosas then two chicken curries between us a passanda and kasmiri with basmati rice and pashwari naans. Absolutely delicious and all testing very fresh and vibrant. The house white wine was fine. I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant. We will go there again.
