The Chequers Inn – LymingtonGreat service, lovely location. The Sunday roast was the best I’ve had for a long time. Excellent value for money.
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonExcellent food Excellent service Excellent value Will be back
The Townhouse – LymingtonA true local pub, friendly service offering a great choice of food. Well kept beers and ciders. Spacious seating areas, large garden if the weather is good, undercover outside if not and in the bar area itself. Staff always accommodating and happy to adapt menus when possible. Highly recommended.
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonWe have been many times (it’s our local) Sunday lunch is especially recommended - tasty appetisers, generous main courses and attractive sweets. Very friendly service in a comfortable dining room. Lunches are served Thursday to Sunday. For other times try the public Bar.
The Townhouse – LymingtonIf you want excellent service and lovely food at a reasonable price then this is the place for you. Lizzie went over and above to make sure we were looked after and the food that we had was just perfect. Excellent all round. Thank you.
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonHad a lovely lunch at The Chequers in their gorgeous walled garden. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed it.

The Chequers Inn – LymingtonWe came for dinner Friday evening - amazing food selection, great service - thoroughly enjoyed and definitely recommend the fish pie and belly pork!
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonAs always the food was excellent and the service welcoming and friendly. The sea bream was lovely but we all (5 of us) enjoyed the meal. Thank you.
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonHaven’t been here in a long while and very impressed with the food - extensive menu and all our dishes (5 of us) were well presented and tasted great. My daughter is vegetarian and loved the Mushroom Wellington. All in all a great place to eat - we will be back. Also fabulous garden we sat out in for drinks before moving into the covered area for dinner as it got cool
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonWe were very pleased to find a pub serving food on a Monday lunchtime. There was an excellent choice available and we all enjoyed our meals very much. The staff and customers were very friendly and helpful. They kindly allowed us to sue their facilities before setting out on our walk before the pub was actually open. This is a very pleasant pub with very good food at reasonable prices in a lovely location. What more could you wish for?
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonI have always enjoyed y meals at The Chequers. On this occasion I ordered the sea bass which has an increased price of 2£ compared to previous visits. The fish is best described as puny and not fresh. Very disappointing. As usual the service was good. I will expect better when I next visit.
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonWhat a little gem of a pub. Great little pub tucked away and the Sunday roasts were just amazing. If ever I'm back down this way there be no hesitation i call again.
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonAnother very nice meal at the Chequers, good service and super food at a very reasonable price.
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonProper English pub, very good food, friendly service at a sensible price. Will come again.
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonIt was very easy to book, wonderful welcome, we were running late but they were understanding on the phone and did not make a fuss. The service was lovely and made us welcome from my three year old granddaughter to Grandma, who’s a little older. The Roast was beautiful presented and with an exceptional lovely chef, who spent time explaining how he made the red cabbage sauce. Thank you for a lovely meal which we all enjoyed. We been many times and the service has not changed 10/10
The Townhouse – LymingtonEasy to book, wonderful warm welcome and service with exactly the right amount of unobtrusive attention. My 103-yr-old grandmother thoroughly enjoyed her roast beef- praised absolutely every element, and she has had quite a lot of roast dinners in her time! Small plates are sublime- and beautifully presented. This is an exceptional venue with an exceptional chef and charming staff. Also astonishing value for money- I checked the bill twice because I thought you must have undercharged us! Thank you so much!
