Java – Lytham
Away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Lytham holds essential ingredients. The Windmill, Lytham Green, Lytham Hall and the River Ribble estuary overlooking the Welsh mountains are all worthy of a postcard. A host of up-market restaurants will tickle your tastebuds.

Java – LythamAlong with the Cartford Inn at Little Ecc, the Queens in Lytham is IMHO doing the best pub food on the Fylde right now. Had a great meal there last night (Monday). My main of smoked haddock with mash and a poached egg was to die for and the golden syrup sponge with clotted cream dessert wasn't far behind.
Queens Hotel – LythamOn the basis of the reviews above I went for Sunday lunch at the Queens and was not disappointed! Great place and food. Thanks fellow reviewers
Queens Hotel – LythamMe and my friend came for a late lunch on Sunday after a walk on the prom with the dog , there is a lovely feel to the place, a warm inviting one, as soon as we entered the pub despite of how busy it was we were greeted by a smiley face and taken to a table , the service was outstanding through out, our dog even got a bowl of water with "ice" in it. when the food arrived the the presentation was excellent and the taste was great , we will be back for sure
Queens Hotel – LythamGood traditional roast dinner and scrumptious sponge pudding and custard with friendly helpful staff.
Chattery Cafe, The – Lythamhad a fantastic meal, very tasty combination of spices and some unusual dishes.Staff very pleasant and helpful.Something for everyone on the menu.

Berties – LythamThe Queens Hotel Pub is lovely now the new owners have taken over. We have eaten there twice now and recommend it to all our friends. The food is a typical pub menu except the food is not microwaved rubbish but tastes freshly cooked and good quality. The specials also provide interesting alternatives - the venison burger was delicious! An example of how good the food is that I was able to eat ribs with a knife and fork as they were do tender they fell off the bone. We also enjoy stopping in for a coffee or a pint when walking on the prom. The Queens is just the sort of establishment Lytham was lacking - good quality hearty pub food. We will be going back again very soon!
Queens Hotel – LythamWhether eating in or out the food is great quality. Good value and good service.
Red Fort – LythamTook family across three generations on a busy Sunday. Service was great, the menu whilst pub predictable was executed as well as can be expected. Good beers and wines deliver a great value for money experience.
Queens Hotel – LythamDefinitely the No.1 curry house in Lytham. Always a friendly welcome and exceptional food. The monthly special is a must if you like to try something different. Keep up the great work!!
Red Fort – LythamSuperb food presented with refinement in a relaxed atmosphere. The best of 25 restaurant meals in a 2-week our of Lancs and Yorks. We'll spread the word and be back ourselves.Solplantino
Novello – LythamExcellent smoked haddock with Bacon, creamy mash and egg. All washed down with a fine pint of Theakstons. Place is back on the map.
Queens Hotel – LythamThe Queens has had a refurb. Was excited to see it. Looks a lot better with its quirky feel. I love the distressed furniture, chalkboards and especially the ducks heads on the wall. I only wish it would go down that quirky route even more in the style of tenanted pubs in London. Didn't eat but enjoyed a well poured pint of Guinness with my dog!
Queens Hotel – LythamWe had a meal there on Friday, what a beautiful restaurant, good value for money and good service. The food was tasteless, I and two of my party agreed.I last went two years ago with the same problem,I thought it would have improved by now.
Chus – LythamFirst time here and was suitably impressed. It was buzzing on a Saturday night with the boss much in evidence making sure everyone got served promptly, despite the crowd. Recommended.
Bosco – LythamEnjoyed excellent hospitality at the Fylde v Sedgley Park game last week. Good food, beer, company and of course a fylde win.
Fylde Rugby Club – LythamLove this restaurant. Excellent food, well presented without being pretentious. We eat here regularly, anything from a simple pasta or pizza through to a 'special occasion' celebration and we've never been disappointed. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and the wine list caters to every pocket. They have recently started opening on Sunday lunchtimes with a 5 course menu on offer which we've yet to try.
