Came to Cookham on Sunday for a walk along the river and lunch. We’d been to the Crown of Cookham for a drink before but had never eaten here. Wow! We will definitely be back. Roasts were amazing, especially the duo served in a giant Yorkshire pudding!

Visited the crown two weekends in a row and had great experiences both times! The Sunday roast, particularly the chicken, was simply amazing, complete with all the delicious extras. And for breakfast, the full vegetarian option was a hit with my friends, boasting some of the most flavorful sausages we've ever tasted. Thanks to Kevin the chef! Plus, the service was excellent, making for an all-around enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommend for both hearty meals and cozy gatherings with friends.

First time meal since the Crown changed ownership and it didn’t disappoint. Had delicious lunch with my friend. I had steak and it was cooked to perfection and Béarnaise sauce was really good. Staff is very attentive and friendly. She had lamb dish and she was very pleased with it too. Definitely will be back

Great venue, fab staff & customer service. Food served hot & quickly. Would like to see more vegetarian options rather than vegan. The children’s portion of steak & fries was perfect for my elderly mum & my husband loved his fish and VERY chunky chips. Will definitely return.

Charming little pub with warm, friendly staff. The chicken skewers were lovely (especially the sauce) and the sausage and mash was one of the best I've ever had.

We were a party of 6 meeting friends at lunch time . The pub was not busy as it was mid week. Our waiter was very polite and friendly . Food was presented well and very tasty. Very enjoyable meal.

We went for Sunday dinner as a party of 6 we had all the meats between us and the food was brilliant cooked to perfection and very tasty the portions were large and puddings to match.. Service was quick and with a smile ,we felt a bit cold talked to waiter who turned the heating up straight away with no problems Would definitely recommend to friends and will be coming back soon 5☆ Thankyou crown staff

Visited recently with an elderly lady. Food was amazing and Staff went out of the way to welcome us. Would recommend to anyone.

Bought an elderly lady I support for lunch yesterday. We had sausages and mash and it was absolutely delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we've booked to go again

Valentines Set menu. Lovely food and well presented at very fair prices and the service at the bar and in the restaurant were exceptional. Will definately return (in fact my wife did d we it’s some girlfriends the very next night)

We had a lovely meal here last night. The seafood sharing platter was excellent, the sticky toffee pudding devine and the atmosphere lovely. Also breakfast was superb this morning

Enjoyed a lovely 3 course Sunday Lunch here on 11/2. Service was great and food delicious with generous servings. Had the red pepper and tomato soup, the beef and chicken duo which came with roast carrot, roast parsnip, swede and turnip mash, roast potatoes, mixed cabbage greens, red cabbage, a lovely yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese and gravy. Followed by Sticky Toffee Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream and a cappuccino. My only criticism would be the ice cream was quite solid initially but obviously soon melted in the hot sauce. The service had tailed off by the time I was ready to order coffee so I went up to the bar to order.

We came to the crown for a Sunday roast on the 11/2. The food was ok but the Yorkshire pudding was rock hard and the cheese sauce on the cauliflower cheese was very watery. As for veg if you don’t like cabbage your abit stuffed as no other veg is offered with regards to broccoli, carrots. We got our main meal really quickly but after that service was really poor. We decided to try the crown after it had been taken over by new management but unfortunately for us we thought it was over priced and under delivered with regards to food and cost.
