Called in for lunch, never had Kurdish cuisine before & was not disappointed! Clean & friendly place, the food was great, very tasty & I came out very satisfied!! Highly recommended.

Called Saturday afternoon 3.30pm with a party of 6. Told that the premises are closed for food. So the open from noon to midnight obviously doesn't count.

I had food with my family. Chicken karahi was very tasty, starters very tasty. But podina lamb and bhindi masala and samosa was realy s***. Service was not good. Glasses which they gave us for having water were not clean and had to wash again..

We visited 17/10/14 - Bought groupon voucher for 2, made booking for 2 adults with child (2yr). Nice food but terrible customer service experience. After poppadums and before starters arrived they tried to charge us for child meal even though our daughter ate bits of ours!!! We were not asking them for extra. She had her tea before we left - doesn't like curry, she only wanted bits of the poppadums. Walked out after starters (had takeout), so angry and totally embarrassed us in front of other customers. We took our complaint to the manager. The first time and last time we will eat here!!!

Excellent food and service definitely recommend

Decided to try Istanbul Grill on 16th September 2014, as we couldn't get in at our favourite Urmston restaurant. It was absolutely wonderful. Food was delicious, service was exemplary, atmosphere so wonderful we were compelled to return again just over a week later to try other items on the menu. Currently booked to go back for our 3rd visit on Saturday 18th October 2014, to what has become our NEW favourite Urmston restaurant. And cannot wait.

Went there today with my boyfriend and we loved it. Great customer service yummy food and a warm atmosphere. Will definitely visit soon.

OMG. Can't believe the quality and variety of the food. Lots of yummie veggi options. I am in heaven. Only live down the road. My friends all had kebabs and rice. Can't say enough. You really don't want to miss this place.

Called in last Sunday and we hadn't booked but they managed to find us a table for two upstairs. Had their sunday lunch and a bottle of pressecco. Lunch was the best I have had in a good while (even beats mine and I think mine is good). Well done chef you did a wonderful job. Definitely worth another visit soon but will definitely book in advance, just in case we are disappointed at not getting another meal like that... yummeeeeeeeee

Went with my friend last night (9.10.14) for the set menu, where it is £12.95 if you eat before 7.00 pm. When we got the bill a £4.95 supplement had been added to the bill because we had the steak, which wasn't that big anyway, and not worth the money!! Why have a set menu for a certain price, and then just add £4.95 to it; the waiter didn't get it at all when it was brought up with him. His answer was "everywhere else does it!" That is not the case. They are ripping the public off. Food is nice, pity about the bill and the staff attitude

The food is excellent! Jalfrezi is utterly perfect and the makhni beautiful :) We have ordered lamb and chicken in these dishes and the meat is just delicious. Also staff are friendly - they are willing to spice your dish up (I like my makhani spicy as sweet). Plus they delivered to me for a small charge (even though we live outside their delivery points). 5*

Went here for birthday meal and although the service and staff was good, the food was very disappointing! 3 of my friends had the lobster linguini priced at £25 and they couldn't eat it. It was swimming in chilli oil and they couldn't taste anything else, as well as the lobster being minuscule. I had a seafood pizza and it was soggy with a few sparse pieces of seafood on a tomato base. It was mainly made up of cherry tomatoes, no fish taste to it at all! We weren't charged for 1 if the lobster meals but we won't be going back here. We spent the rest of the evening elsewhere trying to get rid of the taste of garlic and chilli! People who rate this place for food, must have been lucky or easily pleased!!

Terrible customer care manager is totally out of his depth. Definitley should take a step down, rude arrogant. Spent £330 for a party of 13 and he with held £15 of our £80 deposit because 3 didn't turn up. So there was not tip but the attitude was totally disgusting. He said if you don't like it don't come again. Well I definitley won't be and neither will my family.

My family has been eating at this restaurant for forty years. It is the best Chinese food around. The staff have always been first class, efficient, pleasant and polite. My husband and I had a meal tonight and it was as delicious as ever. I also bought a takeaway for my daughter, which was delicious and value for money. Many people I know eat there and I have never heard anyone complain about the food or the service. Full marks from us.

Not one for slagging off places but to put it simply the attitude of this place stunk. Two of my friends have been in here before and said the food was excellent. In this case, it was very poor. first of all, it took them 25 minutes to come and ask us for our order (we asked twice when are they coming). Starters then took around 20 minutes to arrive, mostly dry. The meal then took around 80 minutes to arrive, during which point we all had our coats to actually walk out after asking them three times where was our food. Only to get told, with terrible customer service, the food has been cooked fresh, but 80 minutes! The real icing on the cake was when they eventually bought the meals out, they bought out a fish deal for one of our party who had asked for a none meal meal. (He is vegetarian). We complained and was told that would not be putting on the bill and we want get a special discount. Well guess what? they tried putting it on there and there was no discount. We ended up complaining again and the meal was struck off, and we got a free drink each. Wow. 3 hours in a busy restaurant with 4 lots of complaints for a sub-standard meal. I certainly won't be going there again.
