i been to this restaurant and its the best food and they have a very good price. also i only spent £20.00 and they gave me some stuff free, for example: 2 poppadom onion mango mint + onion bhaji + A BOTTLE OF TIGER BEER! so i am really happy with there service.

excellent food and service. The decor is modern, fresh with a brilliant atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants good food at a good price.

Large venue, which was a bit quiet when we went but Im hoping it does well as the food was very tasty and fresh and the service was good too. I like the open kitchen too, all looked very clean. Just a warning this is a no alcohol restaurant, not a problem for us but one of our guests was mortified : )

Had the most awesome night here for my 40th birthday. The atmosphere was brilliant and the night couldn't have been better. Good food and great entertainment. All the group had a fab night out and I would definitely recommend this venue.

I have eaten here twice in the last few weeks and had a take away, food is excellent, so nice to have good food at a restaurant not in the city center!!

Having read excellent reviews and heard good things from friends regarding Croma I was thoroughly disappointed. The food was cold and staff rude and I don't intend to ever revisit. Having been a resident of Manchester for some time I can verify that by choosing Croma you are choosing 'not that cheap and not that cheerful'. With so many other restaurants offering exceptional food and calm ambience around the city you really have no reason to stop off at Croma...plus I've just found out it's 50% off at Living Room in January AND 50% off at Dukes Bar & Grill Jan/Feb, both come with high recommendation!

This is a fantastic Italian restaurant which has such a well designed interior with fantastic wallpaper scenes that you feel like you are in Italy. The cuisine is very authentic and the staff are lovely. The have a fine selection of wine and some evening there is a pianist.

I went to this restaurant last night with my husband and 2 friends. The Wharf Restaurant is inside the Castelfield Hotel. When we went in the reception of the hotel and through to the restaurant and thought it was closed. We had booked the table for 9pm and there were only 2 tables occupied. We were led to believe that this restaurant had a varied menu but we were only offered a sheet of A4 paper which had 4 choices for each course. My husband had the crabcakes and the other 3 of us had leek soup which was nice but was cold. We all chose a different main course and the salmon was the only one of the gammon, steak and chicken that wasn't overcooked and dry. It took 25 minutes to receive our drinks and when we asked to see the menu to order desserts we were told the kitchen closed at 10pm so we couldn't order any. We were also asked to pay cash rather than card. The decor was OK but the room was cold and small. We won't be going back there again and won't be recommending it to others.

We may have chosen wrongly as we selected the £18 per head set menu and it was the worst food that my wife and I have ever tasted. That said people around us seemed to be happy with their's. If I went again, and I would not, I would sample the more expensive set menu to make sure that we were not missing out on some fantastic food. The starters were the sort of thing you might get in an Aldi discount Chinese starters pack, the mains were under-cooked chicken and pork in unappetising sauces. The rice was very good. The wine was surprisingly drinkable and reasonably priced, particularly once the chill had left the bottle (it was red). Menu states that tap water is not served on Crazy Wendy nights, is this legal? Crazy Wendy created a good atmosphere where everyone who had had a few drinks could listen to very poor singing and dance on chairs. Great if you like that kind of thing. Overall I would go if you are a fan of poor all you can eat food and daytime tv or 18-30 holidays.

TERRIBLE! The venue has changed and not for the better, trying oh so hard to look laid back however embarrassingly gets its so wrong by its pretentious were to cool for school attitude. was chucked a lunch menu and it was 5pm on a Sunday afternoon, when asked if that was all was on the menu was told yes by the damn right snotty waitress, I then asked for a large beer and was given a bottle of ALDI beer (cost £3.50in lead station for one in ALDI you get 6 for that) decided on what was described as a sirloin steak sandwich for £6.70 without fries, then looked across the room at two female companions who were delighted with their Sunday Lunch which did look nice tbf.When my partner enquired about why did we not get informed, she said that she was sorry but they had already made the "steak sandwich" which then arrived looking as pitiful as smart piece bacon rasher on two cardboard style dry bread. Anyway dreadful service dreadful place - ripped seating - was good in the 90s well past its sell by - Its over! awful experience ... DONT GO......

i think that the food was amazing and mouth watering and is very well standard and it is a experience to go to it is better to go on quite day when it not busy.

I THINK THAT THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND OUTSTANDING AND HOW THAY HAVE DONE IT UP IT LOOK AMAZING AND IT IS A EXPERIENCE TO GO TO.

I have been to this restaurant on several occasions and this family-run restaurant is the most authentic Japanese restaurant I have been to in the UK. This is no small compliment given that if I eat Japanese food, I do so with friends who lived in Japan for over 4 years. They are impressed with the menu and even more by the food. And the staff are great, genuine people.

The location of this restaurant is its only downfall, however please do not let this put you off as the food is excellent. My partner and I decided to try La Salsa as we both love tapas and am sure we will be returning soon. The attraction was the price if im honest which was £7.95 per person for as many tapas as you can eat between 3pm and 7pm, and sometimes this can reflect on the standard of the food. I have to say that the food was delicious, extremely fresh and tasty. We were able to order up to four tapas each at a time and we eventually had 12 between us which included bread and olives. The portion sizes were just enough to share between two and the atmosphere was lovely as the candle on our table was lit as we sat down. This restaurant is best suited to couples and groups who would like a light meal as a start to their night out!

I have been here several times with work for our usual Thursday lunch treat, the lunch deal is well worth it and the food is really good quality. The service is always quite and friendly. We have tried nearly everything on the menu between us and there have never been any complaints!! Love it!!

My husband & I are one of the lucky ones we live 2 minutes away from Sul Lago's. We have dined there on numerous occasions, the food is excellent & the staff are very friendly.

I went to olive garden on Sunday I can only say this a one of the finest Italian restaurant I have ever been. Service, food, atmosphere, prices, cleanliness was excellent. Eight of us been their & every one happy thank you olive garden

I heard a lot about this place through friends and when i went it was a great disappointment. After hearing such good things i was expecting brilliant food but it was bland and over cooked the steak was tough and bland and the pickled cabbage on the hot pot had no taste i will not be returning and wouldn't recommended eating here. I believe there are better places in Manchester for this sort of price
