Great pub, delicious food, and excellent friendly service

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal, service was excellent unfortunately I cannot remember her name other than a young American lady who had just had her birthday. Service was quick as we didn’t have to wait long for our meal and the atmosphere was really good

Enjoyed Sunday lunch and breakfast at The Wheatsheaf. Staff extremely helpful and unobtrusive. Food was delicious. Stayed for one night here and would highly recommend, the room was extremely clean and comfortable, thought of everything, including earplugs should you be a light sleeper, as church bells chime throughout night. Highly recommend for either eating or staying at this establishment. Will be back.

We visited the Wheatsheaf after booking a table online. We received a warm welcome & shown to our table. We asked to move table as we were meeting friends & preferred to sit nearer to them. Nothing was too much trouble. Our order was taken, drinks delivered to the table & our food followed. Great service, tasty food & reasonably priced. Will be returning soon to try more items on the menu. Highly recommend.

Excellent meal, good quality food, cooked to perfection, served by friendly staff, no long waiting times. We will definitely go again when we are next in the area

Stopped for an evening meal on my way home from the lakes. Very nice meal and very pleasant and helpful staff.

Good choice of food and enjoyed the meal. Beer was good. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

Had a meal for four, staff were friendly, helpful, good service. There was an issue with the menu, it read bottomless gravy boat ? the meals arrived with gravy on ( to much for a couple of us ) gravy n the side would be better. And mayb a slightly larger portion for the price.

We love going to Beetham, when we can, to see a quaint village that dates back many centuries. The focus in Beetham is The Wheatsheaf Hotel and pub. The food is nicely presented and high quality. We have been a number of times before and always enjoyed it.

Excellant all round

A hotel full of character set in a lovely village just far enough away from the main road. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The menu was quite extensive and varied. It was well prepared and presented. Louise was very efficient and not over pushy. Overall a very nice experience in a lovely hotel.

Great service, friendly staff, lovely food. Our dog enjoyed it too. Would definitely recommend.
