Puccini’s – Newcastle City CentreThe best food I have eaten in Newcastle and i've been back 5 times..! Can get quite busy and noisy tho
Paradiso – Newcastle City CentreThe most relaxed atmosphere and most beautiful of any restaurant I?e been to in Newcastle.
Blackfriars Restaurant – Newcastle City CentreAmazing lunch in cafe royal with fantastic steak and classy atmosphere and an amazing selection of cakes and coffees.
Cafe Royal – Newcastle City CentreDuring my visit to Puccini? in Newcastle I fully enjoyed it throughout the evening, we were always made welcome, although at the end of the night we felt that we were rushed out. staff explained they needed the table back, however it was good overall.
Puccini’s – Newcastle City CentreAlthough Uno's has been decorated and the food is still great value, the service sometimes lets it down. The plastic table cloths are a distinct disappointment!
Uno Trattoria – Newcastle City CentreIt is a really nice restaurant; most of the customers are regular. It is more than a restaurant really!
Pinocchio Ristorante – Newcastle City CentrePerfect for an impressive lunchtime business meal. Fantastic presentation and beautifully cooked food. Well recommended
Apartment – Newcastle City CentreThis restaurant without doubt serves the best Japanese food in Newcastle, I have been there several occasions and each time it just gets even better. Oh and there? the added bonus of eating out in the same restaurant as famous football stars.
Hanahana – Newcastle City CentreWe choose this restaurant every time we go out to celebrate a special occasion. The staff are lovely. They couldn't be more friendly and helpful and the banquets are the best ever. We go home feeling full and happy! We've found the best and won't bother with the rest!
Dragon House – Newcastle City CentreThis is one of the well-hidden secrets of Newcastle The menu is very extensive and they offer a special menu of 3 courses for around £10.00. The house wine is also very good at a very reasonable price. One favourite is the Pasta Alforno but they also have fabulous shellfish and fish dishes to choose from.
Puccini’s – Newcastle City CentreWent fairly late at night and the place was empty. Sitting in a massive dining room with no other table taken is never great so the ambience here was pretty torrid. The food was average in quality and the meat dishes were more bland sauce than meat. Service was good, fast and polite and the waiter knew when to leave us alone to eat which is a good thing. Maybe better when full earlier in the evening than later at night.
Latif Balti Restaurant – Newcastle City CentreWAT SHOULD I SAY >.................YOU go and check it out.............its totally out of this world
Khans – Newcastle City CentreGood food and good fun, set lunch recommended, try the sushi too, I have been many times and will keep going back.
Fujiyama – Newcastle City CentreWhat a restaurant! The food is fantastic and the staff so friendly. You must try the naan bread and aubergine dip 'Mirza Ghasemi' to die for! Other great starters also available (vine leaves, garlic and shallot dips, feta salad etc) For main course the Fesenjan (walnut & pomegranate chicken stew) is gorgeous, and saffron chicken stew equally as good and the rice accompanying each main dish is cooked to perfection every time. Try it with a touch of butter mixed in! The quality of the chicken and lamb fillet (Joojeh and Barg) and the kebabs are out of this world. If you fancy a change from Indian/Chinese/Italian etc. (which I also love!) you must give this place a try. You?l love it!
A Taste Of Persia – Newcastle City CentreMy favourite Indian restaurant! The food is brilliant. I've tried many of the popular dishes - Jalfrazi, Bhuna, Dansak, Tandoori Tikka - and all taste brilliant. The service is great the atmosphere is friendly. It's really good to take your own drink too (makes the bill slightly cheaper at the end).
Khans – Newcastle City CentreThis is a fantastic place to go if you want a bit of entertainment with your meal. The chefs are fantastic - and it really is about the art of Japanese food. The food looks so fresh when it comes out of the kitchen and then it is cooked in front of you. The atmosphere is what makes it, and if your lucky (or unlucky as the case may be) they put on the karaoke on a Wednesday (and a Saturday late, if you ask nicely!). I have been many times to this restaurant and highly recommend it!
Fujiyama – Newcastle City CentreMyself and group of 10 friends went here recently and I have to say I was most impressed - the food was excellent and the service very good. We had a slight problem with a drink that was ordered and it was dealt with efficiently and politely. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
