Service excellent and ambience superb - plenty of space between tables. Lamb and halibut were superb - Wine top rate - deserts excellent. 2 Adults and 1 kid £95 - without starters but including a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Produce local and well sourced - this goes some way to explain the relatively high price for Newcastle. Chicken & Chips, lemonade & ice cream for our 11 year old was not good value for £21.75! Chicken was unfortunately dry and overcooked - but as this was a non-menu item we didn't make much of a fuss. However, we will definitely return with other adults. In short - Excellent for adults but leave the kids at home.

Not just a meal but real entertainment as well. Excellent for parties and larger groups. We've been there about 7 or 8 times so far and the kids love it. Food is freshly prepared in front of your eyes - sushi excellent and the rest of the menu up to a very high level. Around £85 for 4 - pretty good but you can spend a lot more if you've a got a really big appetite or want a few drinks!

Food was very good and portions very large! Service great as were the surroundings. 2 cool bars too.

After previous Experiences with a certain teppanyaki restaurant 4 doors away from Hanahana's I was dubious about going to this one but once i entered, my partner and I felt welcomed and well pampered. Service was quick and food was a marvel. Chef was chatty and waitress service was excellent. Highly recommended as the best teppanyaki in Newcastle/Northeast! Wonderful surroundings. Will definately go again. Go for the Lobster!!

Best value for money in Newcastle at the moment. Great food and excellent service. Be sure you have the three courses so as not to miss out on anything.

I my opinion the best place to go for coffee and tea in Newcastle City Centre. The breakfast is excellent and the sandwiches are even better. Cheaper then Starbucks too. Great

Great venue, shame about the long wait to get a seat (even though we had a booking). Getting the food took another 20 mins at least. Better for lunch or during the week if you want to dine in the evening.

Having eaten here on many occasions, I can strongly recommend this as a venue. Never been disappointed, very reasonable prices, authentic food.

Awesome in every sense.

A lovely traditional Italian restaurant on Newcastle Quayside. Food and service have always been very good when we have visited (often with family or friends for a special occasion), and reasonable prices. They do an early Happy hour (Pizza/Pasta only) for bookings up to 7:00 midweek. Often very busy from Thursdays to the weekend, but still good service. Would recommend as one of the 'better' Italians in N/C.

Second to none Italian restaurant. Food delicious and not rushed after meal. Book to avoid disappointment

Great for those who don't want to stare at a large plate and leave behind most of it. You can order maybe 15-20 tapas and pick a bit here a bit there. Outstanding quality and a great feeling of being away from home. All staff Spanish speaking. Some from Spain and a lot from South America.

Luigi's is the place for brilliant food at sensible prices. Their happy hour is only £4.95 for 3 courses. The service is great; everyone is treat like a friend, and the food. Mamma mia!! Child and disabled friendly- do not miss it!!

It's great. The food changes every few months. They have a nice lunch menu and a more fancy evening though i think they only open evenings later in the week and weekend. But its the best veggie place in Newcastle!
