What a gem of a restaurant right in the middle of Newcastle, great atmosphere, lovely staff and excellent food at reasonable prices.

Enjoyed a lovely meal at Boquerones with friends. The food was very good and the atmosphere great. The staff were very friendly and the service efficient, didn't have to wait very long for anything. Highly recommend.

The food and service were outstanding, as usual. Definitely the widest selection of Tapas that I have seen in a very long time, even outstripping some places in Spain!

Excellent afternoon for four friends. We had the 2 course special and the food was tasty and the plates were full. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly - we will definitely be back soon.

Fabulous food served by friendly staff in a great setting.

We booked a table for 16.45 last Saturday afternoon 48hrs prior, due to other restaurants already booked up around that time. We weren't sure what to expect, as this was our first visit to this restaurant. From arriving and being greeted by a friendly face until leaving, this was a very enjoyable experience. Several recent positive reviews posted mirrored our own experience, including the excellent service, tasty food, and reasonably priced menu. We couldn’t fault the delicious Greek dishes presented, and we will certainly be returning again in the future.

Came for a midweek meal with some friends, Kafeneon very welcoming atmosphere and just right, plenty of food and service was good, very happy overall, will go back.

The food was excellent - almost too much choice! Service was excellent. Only complaint is that we were sitting next to the window and it was freezing. It's an old building though, so I don't suppose there's much they can do about it, unfortunately.

Amazing food and staff so happy & helpful

Thanks for a really delicious meal, and also for being so flexible. Due to some train carnage, our table number varied massively but you guys were super accommodating. For those of us that made it, we enjoyed the food immensely! Will certainly be back on our next visit.
