Good food, attentive staff. One of our favourite restaurants.

Food was absolutely amazing, we shared the meze platter and every dish was excellent, meat was so tender and full of flavour. Don't need to have a starter with this main course as it has so many different elements to it.

Food great as always, and good choices for different diets. Friendly staff, food arrived quickly and hot. Just one thing - my daughter ordered the padron peppers. We think there should have been a warning that the orange pepper sitting among the green ones was a very hot chilli! She did suffer for a while! Restaurant a little cold, but it was quite early at 5.30 p.m.

Not the first visit to this restaurant, and certainly won’t be the last - food is always fab as are the staff and its great value for money. Highly recommend!!

Went to this Greek restaurant twice food is really good and service is fabulous, we just walked in first time very accommodating nothing any problem to friendly staff enjoyed our meal and had to go back a second night and had a lovely meal top Greek food thank you John and Sybil

Two drunk Newcastle fans went for tea on Saturday and it was just what we needed! We arrived nearly a hour late as we needed some food! Food was fab and the service was great! We’ve been to Kafeneon a few times and would always a recommend and will definitely return!

Hi Had a meal here to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Food and service was excellent, I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

What a great find! The restaurant was everything we hoped it would be in terms of food, service and atmosphere. The menu was excellent and we all enjoyed everything we ate. My mocktail was brilliant - full of different flavours enhanced by fresh herbs. The toilets were spotless and just like the restaurant had loads of character. When we next come to Newcastle, we will be heading straight back here.
