The Kings Arms – Great YarmouthMyself and my husband visited last night, we took advantage of the 2 for 1 offer on steak , the steak was cooked to perfection just the way we asked for, onion rings were amazing I had peppercorn sauce which was delicious, whilst my husband had blue cheese sauce which he said was delicious, the staff were very friendly, the pub had a lovely atmosphere. We will certainly be back and hopefully have room for a dessert.
The Kings Arms – Great YarmouthWe have eaten at the restaurant before. Quality of food, always excellent and staff lovely. Look forward to visiting again soon.
White Swan – Great YarmouthSuperb service and excellent food.
Jorges Restaurant – NorwichFood was lovely, I had a, really nice Prawn Cocktail starter, it was a good job I didn't order mains as it was huge. My Husband had brill which he thoroughly enjoyed. Last year I had potted brown shrimps and was really hoping it would be on the menu but the fish shop had some, so am going to do my own. We are going back again on Friday as we are staying at Hopton and love this place.
White Swan – Great YarmouthWonderful food staff lovely definitely going back again very soon
White Swan – Great YarmouthFantastic food and brilliant service
White Swan – Great YarmouthExcellent meal had fish boil, only criticism , sauce was very thick. Fish & chips were good would have preferred less chips and more mushy peas. Wines were good, lack of beers and lager on tap. Service good. We did sit outside whilst waiting for table could do with heater out there
White Swan – Great YarmouthWe have eaten at the White Swan on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The fish is always fresh, absolutely delicious and often presented in different and interesting ways. The staff are very friendly and efficient and add to the welcoming ambience in the restaurant. Excellent all round!
White Swan – Great YarmouthWhat a perfect night. Food, ambience and service exceptional. Our adult son is autistic with dietary restrictions. I put our request on the booking. They very kindly emailed me back saying no problem and even sent a menu for him. Honestly it meant we could enjoy and have a relaxing time. Staff were so kind to our son which meant a lot. If ever we’re back in GY we’d definitely be back. Thank you all staff at White Swan yr all brilliant
White Swan – Great YarmouthWe're local so we eat here often and had our 50th Anniversary family lunch here last October. We booked a table on Friday evening and were surprised how quiet it seemed. The food was, as always, excellent but the service and the general atmosphere was very disappointing. The waiter took our drinks order promptly but failed to bring the jug of water we ordered in addition. After he had brought the bread rolls we realised there were no napkins on the table. We mentioned it to him and he said he would bring some but got sidetracked and we eventually had to ask the manageress who quickly brought both the water and the napkins. She put her coat on and left halfway through the evening which I understand but surely a side door would have looked more professional. The waiting time between courses was longer than usual and we were almost at the stage where we would have asked what the delay was. Finally, during coffee we had competing music coming at us from the kitchen and the bar areas. Quiet, instrumental music from the bar and loud rock music from the other end of the restaurant. We were there for a special reason with friends and I think we all left feeling a little let down.
The Kings Arms – Great YarmouthWhat a great find. Had a love.y lunch here on Saturday. Excellent service, delicious food and good value. I especially liked the beef fillet in garlic and the tempura beans.
Jorges Restaurant – NorwichWe had a fantastic meal here before going to the theatre and can thoroughly recommend. The starters were really very very good and we followed out with some logging main courses which included Madagascan prawn and a great selection of steaks
