A visit to Norwich is always a special pleasure and last night we discovered an extra reason for this being so. We made a spur of the moment booking at Jorges Restaurant and it was really very good. Tuesday being steak and tapas night we ended up eating steak with a particularly good salad and chips, but the marinaded octopus and the clams tapas made a particularly fine starter. I'm now looking forward to our next visit to Norwich and know exactly where I will be booking for dinner!

Great little restaurant with really knowledgeable staff. The menu is comprehensive and the food quality very good. The problem we both had was the temperature of the food on delivery, nothing was above lukewarm and we both felt that really detracted from the overall pleasure of eating.

What a lovely restaurant! I’m from Norwich originally but moved away many years ago. We came back for the day to take my stepmom out to lunch. We wanted to go for quality and we found it! Superb food, beautifully cooked. A series of excellent dishes, quality ingredients, very pleasant attentive service and our waitress / co-owner (?) seemed to be Portuguese. Definitely recommend
