First time visiting and found the whole experience excellent. Staff very friendly, food lovely and ambience spot on.

A fabulous visit to Norwich, topped off with a wonderful meal at Jorges. The service was excellent, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Jorge himself was very nice indeed. Wonderful cosy atmosphete, relaxed eating.

I've probably visited once every 3 months for last three years. First rate food and an excellent (and reasonably extensive) Portugese wine list. Very helpful and attentive staff who are quite happy to recommend/advise according to your expressed preferences.

This was our first time at Jorge's restaurant. Lovely little restaurant, very romantic and intimate. Food was really really tasty.

Jorge’s is a gem of a restaurant. Small and intimate, incredible food, fantastic friendly service It’s as if you are sitting amongst friends, chatting and laughing while Jorge brings you the most exquisite dishes. Stays to chat about Portuguese markets you’ve been to, places to visit in that area. Do not go! I need to make sure there’s always a table available for me.

Outstanding restaurant. Superb low carb menu with incredible taste. Nice service and overall atmosphere.

Very disappointed, my partner had whitebait starter, some was served as a clump of fish stuck together, side salad last saw water the day before, no tartare sauce etc served with it. Her main was fish pie which consisted of three mussels and mashed potatoes, will not be visiting again.

I bought a friend here on Tuesday lunch (not knowing it was a two for one day!! Extra Bonus) but for her birthday. The staff were delightful and informative. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a a really perfect lunch /special day! If I had one little moan it was that the room was very chilly which spoilt the atmosphere a little . But it was a bitter cold day overall and we were so glad we came.

First visit here & definitely not the last. Staff very attentive, service was great as was the food. Would definitely recommend a sharing meat platter.

The food was just exquisite. Great attitude from the staff faultless from when we walked in until we left. I do believe this place is a hidden gem which deserves a lot more recognition. Great flavours

Valentines Evening - initially disappointed as the online booking did not mention it was a special fixed menu and we had mentally selected from the standard menu. The choices were not what we would have picked. HOWEVER - the food was wonderful. Tasty and superbly cooked. Portion sizes just right. The wine selection is good and, although not stated on the menu, you can order by the glass from any of the listed bottles (except champagne, but that's still reasonably priced). Also, the waitresses were wonderful, with the right balance of polite and friendly. We've been before, we'll definitely go again

Went for anniversary meal. Had sharing meat platter. Food was lovely - have booked again for next month. Maybe some nice background music.

I am a huge fan of Jorges and tell everyone looking for a nice meal out to go there. It is impossible to be disappointed with the quality of the food - it’s delicious, thoughtfully and carefully prepared and the service is also super friendly. It made for a great meal out for my dad’s birthday yesterday, all the mains, deserts and wines were delicious - can’t fault it.

We were visiting Nrwich on a brief break. Jorges have a small friendly team enthusiastic about their food, we really enjoyed the dishes (octopus and escabeehe sauce, monkfish and clama, basil and lime sorbet were favourites) A great evening, we'd definitely recommend and come again.

Lunch at Jorge's was an excellent experience pre Theatre . Food was all very high standard and tasty ,service attentive and charming . Had the Australian steak with chimichurri sauce medium rare cooked perfectly had a lovely flavour . Steak a bit expensive but very enjoyable nonetheless. Would recommend and return when next in Norwich.
