The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonThree of us booked for afternoon tea with Prosecco and it was honestly the best we have had. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful and the actual restaurant was very well laid out and well spaced so we didn’t feel crowded. Fantastic experience for what we thought was a good price. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you Hopping Hare.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonFood was ok but the service wasn’t great. Shouldn’t take 20 mins for someone to first come over and offer a drink. Then waited 45 mins for food but hardly anyone was in there
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonSuperb meal and presentation
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonVisited for the first time on Valentine's day . Hubby's meal was fine as he had a different dish to me . I ordered the beetroot risotto, was very salty ! So could not eat all of it , told one of the waitress who said she will tell the chef ! We still ended up paying the whole bill, no compassion whatsoever, nothing was offered to us . We were served by different waitresses. Staff were not very welcoming or very friendly. Atmosphere was poor . Had to switch on the fake candle on the table ourselves. Walked away feeling unimpressed.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonThe food is always fantastic and the service is second to none. This is always our first choice restaurant. The staff could not be more helpful and they are extremely friendly. It’s a pleasure to eat there.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonCame for Sunday lunch in Feb 25. Overall excellent experience. Food was very good. Quality over quantity and good value for what we had with drinks. Staff were spot-on. Warm and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.

The Queens Arms Orlingbury – KetteringGood quality food at very reasonable prices. Service is rather better than exemplary.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonWe went to Queen's Head for a roast dinner which was fantastic. It was all very good, the roast beef was cooked to perfection, vegetable and roast potatoes was lovely. The cauliflower cheese was the best we have ever had, quite obvious a good tasty cheese. My husband actually said it was better than mine, which is rare for him to say. Plenty enough, to the point we were too full to manage a pudding. Great roast, worth every penny. Love to try other meals on the menu
The Queens Arms Orlingbury – KetteringOutstanding roast dinner and service to match, I sent my dietary restrictions with the booking and as soon as I sat down the staff explained what I could and couldn’t have an offered my extra of what I could to make up for it. It was so delicious too. Thank you so much.
The Queens Arms Orlingbury – KetteringExcellent lunchtime service and delicious food.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonBooked a table for 4 people , fire was on , nice warm friendly pub , had the lamb shank & was perfectly cooked as was the other 3 meals , staff was very tentative & kept our glasses full , allways a favourite for us.
The Queens Arms Orlingbury – KetteringWe had an excellent dinner on Friday night at the Hopping Hare. My partner had the tasting menu and enjoyed every dish.
