Stayed over in the hotel. 3 course Christmas menu was faultless. Service excellent and friendly. We will be back. Thanks for a 10/10 meal and evening.

The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonBrilliant meal and reasonable cost. Absolutely loved our meal, we had 3 courses, were not rushed and all of the plates went back clean. Lovely staff and a great place to eat. We will be back
The Queens Arms Orlingbury – KetteringWent for lunch with 2 colleagues and as always greeted with a smile and quickly seated at our table. Went for my favourite, fish and chips, which never fails to deliver, so much so all 3 of us had the same! And for dessert we had the Christmas pudding, which was not strictly on the menu as it was part of the Christmas menu only which we were not having, but our waitress pulled some strings for us so we could have it - excellent service. Looking forward to next time already!
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonThe staff made us welcome and extremely professional. Every course was a delight - could not ask for more!
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonFood was ok, waited along time for it to come out and it wasn’t very hot. My friend had the Vegi parcel which she could hardly eat as it was rock hard and she could hardly cut it. Ordered drinks and 3 of them came out wrong. I ordered a mocktail which I started to drink only to then be told sorry we did you one with alcohol in. Didn’t seem very busy so not really sure what went wrong. Bit disappointing as this was our Christmas meal out and we hadn’t seen each other in a long time.
The Queens Arms Orlingbury – KetteringLast year we had the Christmas Fayre menu and it was fantastic so did the same this year. Very disappointing. One of our party of Five had the Veg choice. The roasted Squash. It was sorely lacking in volume. Hardly anything and certainly didn’t warrant the price. Another of our party can’t have alcohol so had the cheese and biscuits option, there is no other sweet desert option .We were charged £13.00. They reimbursed us after we pointed it out. They had stopped us to say we were £1.25 short. All in all it was a very disappointing night which quite honestly we won’t be repeating sadly
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonBirthday Treat. Went for lunch today. We had a lovely meal, thank you. The whole experience was good. Everywhere was clean and tidy. The staff were efficient and friendly. The food was its usual high standard. Very rare in most places this time of the year. Looking forward already to next visit early in the New Year. Thank you for making a birthday special.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonI've been dining regularly at the Hoppin Hare for some time and have been remiss in not providing a review. The food is excellent and although not the cheapest around the quality speaks for itself and it is worth every penny. The staff are always lovely and I do see them quite often. My personal opinion is that if you have an occasion or just want a perfect meal it's the best restaurant in Northampton.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonAs always, excellent food goes without saying and our waitress was very patient as we were all in our late 70s.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonThe staff were perfect, the service was perfect and the food was top quality. All in all, a great experience for us and our guests pre Saints rugby match. Many thanks to Sarah and her team.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonThe food is lovely, never any issues and the presentation is great. The servers are all so nice and attentive and the atmosphere is always comfortable and welcoming.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonGreat food, nice feel but a bit crowded.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonThe absolutely best meal we have had in Northampton.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonFood was on par as always well presented and very tasty. Service was excellent and nothing was too much for the serving staff.
The Hopping Hare – Northamptonwe have had two dinners recently, nov /dec, Sunday lunch was superb , The beef just melted and lots of very nice vegetables really good. we have just had xmas fare and it was very good , plenty of it and the christmass pudding was very good , far better than last year. one moan was the brussels were very hard. i like raw brussels so i had everyone else's! however a previous customer's review highlighted bullet like vegetables. so i hope the chef reads these comments. but don't overcook them
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonThe staff were attentive and pleasant. But the vegetables from the Christmas dinner were like bullets and the potatoes that went with the sea bream were also rock hard. But we had a good night and the atmosphere was good too.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonAs usual friendly staff and the food was amazing
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonFirst ever visit here on Saturday night for a thank you meal with my Mum. Lovely decor. Lovely staff. Food was beautifully presented & tasted great, lots of flavour. Will definitely recommend & will visit again.
