We went for Sunday lunch , one of us had the roast and 2 went for the venison pie and one the vegetarian lattice , all the meals were served with the roast lunch trimmings, including Yorkshire puddings . All were beautifully presented and delicious. The puddings were also delicious. We will certainly be returning.

Our food was amongst the best we have had since moving to Northamptonshire a couple of years ago. We had three courses and each one was excellent - good quality ingredients, perfectly cooked and with a matching flair for presentation. The service was excellent with perfect timing and a friendly attitude. We would recommend a visit to The Hopping Hare - even if you have nothing to celebrate but wish for a perfect foodie evening.

One of the staff explained it is privately owned and run, with an established chef who sources ingredients locally where possible. The food is really well presented and we would definitely recommend for an enjoyable lunch or dinner.
