We are regular customers at the Queens Arms for Sunday Lunch simply because it’s the best locally by far

Great place serving great food very pleased with the whole experience. We had just the right amount of attention without any pressure staff were helpful and considerate and we were impressed withthe food itself - it was really really good. Definitely will return.

I am always so impressed by the quality and presentation of the food at The HoppingHare. Eating out these days is not cheap anywhere these days but at least here you can see the effort and skill that has gone into the preparation. The service is also excellent. Drinks a bit expensive though.

Can't fault the food , service and the decor. So welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely a favourite of mine. The peach melba was delicious!

Another excellent meal at the Hopping Hare! The Muscle Rump of Beef was superbly cooked, tender but still nicely pink, the Dauphinoise potato is a delight. The dessert menu is always a great end to the meal. Staff were attentive (especially as it was a busy night) and the time from order to eat is nice and short so you don't feel as though you've been forgotten (like many places!) Definitely will be back again soon!

Staff, service and food superb. A cocktail was requested that wasn’t on the menu and that was no problem at all. We stayed overnight and the breakfast is worth the stay alone, freshly cooked to order. Excellent.

I should have written this review a long time ago as my friends and I have been visiting the Hopping Hare for some time. For at least 3 years we meet up once a month for a get together and always have a lovely evening. The food is always superb and the staff are too and we know them quite well now. My one and only criticism as real ale drinker is that they only usually have one beer on tap and a number of times I have been disappointed as the beer has run out? I know most of the younger generation drink that fizzy pop lager now :) but there should always be the option for us old folk! Anyway it's a ten out of ten for us :)

We sat outside as the weather was so good and could not fault a thing …food took a while to come but we were made aware of a wait at the time of ordering ! Will definitely be back.!

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch at the Hopping Hare with a friend. A Very tasty meal with generous portions so we didn't need to eat much later in the day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Certainly will visit again.
