The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonI booked a Sunday lunch for the choir I belong to and 22 of us attended. I met up with the manager beforehand and also before the meal. The attention to detail was amazing and I got the feeling nothing was too much trouble. The food was superb and not one niggle about anything from any of the choir members - in fact quite the reverse - they were all praising the Hopping Hare staff and chef. Thank you David and The Hopping Hare for making our annual lunch so enjoyable. Would recommend The Hopping Hare to anyone.

Service was swift .. to the point that we had rushed through three courses. Starter and main were over and done in 30 mins or so, and we had to ask for time before ordering dessert.

However, as vegetarians we were disappointed to be told there were no veggie options/ alternatives on the Taster menu. In addition, the veggie starters and mains on the A la carte menu mostly seemed to feature goat’s cheese heavily , for some reason. A bit more variety to choose from would have been welcome. Maybe in future look at your menu offerings from the standpoint of diners looking to eat more plant- based options?
