Excellent, beautiful place

Absolutely superb food, great, friendly atmosphere! Highly recommend!

Honestly cannot rate their Sunday Roasts highly enough. Great food, cooked to perfection and very generous portion sizes. Prices are slightly on the higher side, especially for the children's meals. But they're worth every penny! Service has always been warm, friendly and efficient.

Brilliant food, first time visiting but we will definitely be back. Staff are all very friendly. Garden area is stunning.

The Hopping Hare was packed and buzzing on Saturday. The service was faultless and the staff appeared to be enjoying themselves which made our evening special. We were not addressed as "You Guys: which is often used in other establishments. Food was as always excellent and well presented. We shall be back yet again.Thanks to all the team front of house and kitchen. Best place to eat round the west side of Northampton currently.

Went for a family meal for Fathers Day. Prompt service. Food very good. Staff very polite and friendly. Feel drinks were a little pricey!

Genuinely one of the best roast dinners I've ever had. Amazing Yorkshire puddings, delicious beef, brimming with all the trimmings. Staff were fantastic; very polite and helpful. The indoors is lovely. The outdoors has to be the best pub garden setup for parents with young children. The ring of picnic benches around a central grass area is inspired. And the burger from the garden kitchen look great. We travelled about half an hour and would make the journey again. Can't recommend more highly.

Beautiful food, freshly prepared. Chef Tomas is stand out and deserves the plaudits (and his young 15 year old apprentice is destined for GREAT things). Not too pricy, but wine list could be more comprehensive.

Absolutely delicious as usual! We has Sunday Roast on father's day and it was so yummy, melt in your mouth beef, cauliflower cheese, braised red cabbage, spring greens, carrots, roast potatoes and of course a rather large Yorkshire pudding. This is our favourite place, where we had our wedding reception in 2022 - and as usual the food and service was 10/10!

Perfect! Service was friendly, efficient but not overbearing. Every part of the meal was perfect - we all enjoyed every dish. Good ingredients, great textures and perfect portions. A lovely, vibrant environment too.

First rate in every way - a special birthday lunch with our daughter. What a delicious meal we had; the food was presented beautifully and tasted delicious ( mains and puddings both fantastic). From the welcome to all aspects of service, this was an exceptional and a very enjoyable experience.

On Tuesday the 11 June my younger Brother was on holiday with the family from Australia and as a celebration and last meal with him before he was flying back to Sydney 6 of us had lunch at The Hopping Hare. It was the finest and happiest experience of good food that any of us had enjoyed in years. All of our meals and desserts were of Michelin Star quality, beautifully cooked, presented and delivered to our table by Sabrina, our waitress. None of us could fault the Hopping Hare in any way and that lunch will stay in our memories for a very long time. Thank you for a truly great couple of hours, Libby Adams.
