The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonBeen many times and never disappoints. Lights in the bar a bit bright. Table of 20 and all had a fantastic meal. Would highly recommend.

The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonA very tasty Sunday lunch at a very reasonable price. Never have to wait too long. The waitresses always smiling
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonWonderful setting, environment, warm greeting, staff are always ready to help and advise and charasmatic. Booked a table of 6 for all my girl friends to catch up and all the food came out at the same time. In one point of the meal we were all quiet and that is a tall order with us teachers. AMAZING SUNDAY ROAST! Shout out to the chef! A little hidden gem in the countryside. 5* will go back again and again with any friend or family member.
The Queens Arms Orlingbury – KetteringVisited again 22/11/24 for tasting menu second in recent weeks and again it was amazing value with well presented, enjoyable dishes including gluten free for my wife, however we feel the portion sizes are ;little too generous and could be reduced slightly probably not a common view!! Looking forward to visit again in new year
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonVery good service and the food was amazing. We had the specials lamb tagine and partridge. I’d love to have the lamb tagine on the menu all the time! Desert was lovely too. Always good to see Rosie and the team!
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonA really lovely night away and meal. The quality of the food was brilliant. Staff were professional and attentive. I will definitely be coming back again with my friends.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonI booked a group booking for my sister’s birthday so there was 15 of us and I was so impressed with the service! We were asked to pre order our food which was made so easy to do. On the night the food all came out at the same time and there was no issues and the food was amazing! The staff couldn’t be any more helpful and made our night so enjoyable. Can’t thank them enough! I would highly recommend the Queens Arms!
The Queens Arms Orlingbury – KetteringHad an excellent lunch yesterday. Great choices on the menu and despite there being two bigger parties the service and speed of meal delivery was extremely well done. The waitresses were efficient friendly and most helpful
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonBest steak i've had in a very long time.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonLovely food & great staff! Subtle lighting would make a huge difference to ambience though!
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonAmazing hidden gem of a pub. Met a friend for a midweek lunch. The sandwiches were delicious and service was brilliant as always.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonVery nice atmosphere , nice meal, service excellent.
The Queens Arms Orlingbury – KetteringWe visited the Queens Arms as a group of 6 people. Our welcome was really good and our table prepared for us, even though we were slightly early. Our drinks order was taken straight away and served very quickly. The menu was really good with an excellent choice of dishes, including some very nice Vegetarian options. Everyone enjoyed their meals, starters, mains and deserts and we’ll definitely be booking again very soon.
The Queens Arms Orlingbury – KetteringFood was amazing as usual. Sadly the lights were too bright and sterile, there was little atmosphere and service was slow! Shame as was a Saturday night.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonExcellent food and staff as usual
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonWhat a lovely evening out. This is the fourth time we have eaten at The Hopping Hare. They were so accommodating of our various dietary requirements. The food was promptly served and just delicious. My mother-in-law normally has a child's portion but ate her way through a sizeable and beautifully cooked adult fish and chips - though, to be fair, we did help her with the chips. My husband is gluten free and vegetarian and loved his food. We don't normally eat desert, but the sticky toffee pudding and the marmalade and almond ice cream were both delightful.
