As a fan of all things Lusophone I was keen to try Jorge's restaurant in Norwich when revisiting my hometown. We couldn't have been more impressed; Jorge was there to greet us and knew exactly who we were based on our booking; he was attentive and explained the menu in detail. All of the staff were so cheerful and polite, and the food was amazing. We sat and inhaled the aromas of Portugal before we delved into our cataplana. Absolute quality, and whisking us back over to Portugal in spirit even though we are all stuck in the UK this year! Thank you so much, voltaremos quando visitarmos Norwich no futuro!

visited on a Tuesday, to try out the tapas menu, before committing to the normal menu on another day.Have to say was disappointed.The food was nice but not wow, and although I appreciate it was a tapas menu, for the price I feel it was expensive based on portion size.Two meatballs each and two spare ribs each about 4"long were two of the 5 dishes.Based on this experience I would probably be unlikely to visit again.

Food was nice but very overpriced and not great value for money so would be unlikely to come back as wasn’t really special enough for the price it was. Only had one high chair which wasn’t helpful even though this was requested on the booking so had to wait until one was free which was awkward. Staff were nice and it has the potential to be a really nice place but wouldn’t recommend unless prices reviewed and there’s more than one high chair.

I have been twice now, dinner and lunch, and both times have never disappointed! Service is exceptional as is the food. Full of flavour and excellent choice there is something for everyone.

Lovely atmosphere as soon as you walk In. The courtyard is a tucked away little gem. The staff were attentive but not over the top. The food was amazing, my husband said the steak was the best he’d had. Food is priced fairly for the quality and the is choice for everyone. We will definitely be heading back to Jorges.

Sadly very disappointing. Food was over priced, over-cooked and underwhelming. Fully undercover seating was situated outside the kitchen with door wide open needless to say, surrounded by unpleasant fatty and smoky kitchen smells throughout. Side orders arrived when almost finished the meal, so were sent back. Staff were very pleasant and as a goodwill gesture removed the 'optional' service charge and side orders (that we didn't have), from the bill. It was a shame as we had such high hopes for the cuisine when we read the delicious menu and on the basis of it being new and small (possibly family run) business and thought it would be pretty special based on the price. The reality did not match up.

Fantastic restaurant, lovely food, great wines, brilliant service and a wonderful atmosphere. Had a very nice evening and meal with friends in this tucked away gem in the centre of Norwich. Amazing.

This was such a lovely find! Had a table for two and service was attentive and friendly and the food was so delicious. We asked for some wine recommendations and what we got was perfect ( sorry we knocked some over in the excitement of such yummy food and wine) A lovely treat for our date night xx

We had lunch yesterday 31st July it was amazing! Lovely friendly staff, delicious tapas, desert and quality wine, coffee and port. Thoroughly recommend Jorges and will be back next time we visit Norwich.

We enjoyed our evening meal at Jorge's very much. Good food, lovely wine and attentive service. We especially like the Portuguese flavour in the menu. We sat in the courtyard by choice, suited us to be al fresco. With the challenges presented by covid and the pingdemic it must be difficult running a small restaurant, but Jorge had time to explain the menu and offer wine advice.

First time at this lovely Portuguese restaurant and I am so glad we found it , it is so friendly and welcoming, staff where brilliant and the food was great and the casa Nata was perfect , we will be back to try all the food on the menu soon , it was like being in Portugal loved it , the service was fantastic thank you.

As each half of our party arrived, we were warmly greeted and informed about the dish of the day. We were well served throughout, it was like having dinner out at a friends only the food was so much more amazing than any of us would have presented. All the dishes looked amazing and the Almond Tart and Lavender Ice Cream was out of this world. We could not recommend this wonderful restaurant and it’s staff enough. There is nothing else like it in the city.

This is the very best restaurant in Norwich for Dinner ... Had langustines for starter ...then the rib eye beef with creamed spinach ..no fries for me !,, and then crime brûlée ... All quite star dad dishes BUT they were superb !! Lovely staff ... Great wines and atmosphere was trendy and friendly ... Would go back again for sure ...perhaps for special occasion but also to try their lunchtime tapas menu ...got to be good !!!

This was our First visit - we had the lunchtime Menu and chose a selection of 6 fantastic tapas dishes with wine followed by coffee / desert. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, service was very good - will definitely return . Thank you for a lovely lunchtime experience.

Lovely small restaurant. Friendly staff and good service. Particularly love the tapas menu which is so very tasty. We were there at lunch time so not over busy but we still booked to be sure. Had a great seat near the open door so felt very safe.

Just wanted to thank Jorge and all his staff for the lovely meal we had on Saturday 17th July. The food was very tasty and well presented but what made the night was the amazing service and attention to detail from all the staff. Many thanks

Visited on a Thursday night & was very busy. However, service was still excellent & staff very friendly. Had a shared starter of clams & a main of pork and my husband had steak. Every dish was simply amazing and cooked to perfection. It's honestly the best meal I've had in ages. The waitress made a wine recommendation to us & this was also excellent & paired well with our foods. Would highly recommend.
