We went to the opening night at the Blowing stone. The dinner was exceptional. Absolutely delicious and the landlord and his wife and son were wonderful hosts. I would totally recommend the pub to all my friends.

The Blowing Stone Inn – WantageGreat food, quality beer and wine, history and good rooms! What a find just outside Burford. The French fish soup and shoulder of lamb were perfect and great service from the friendly and informative member of staff.
Inn for All Seasons – WitneyWe were frequent visitors to The Rats Castle and always found Mr Diamond to be charming and a gentleman Our daughter worked for him for 4 years and he was a gem Gillian
Rats Castle Bistro – FaringdonMy family and I were regular customers at the rats castle . Always found the owner to be a good guy and certainly no problems. He always had stunning young ladies waitressing and they all seemed to like working there.
Rats Castle Bistro – FaringdonMy daughter worked at the Rats Castle before going on to Uni and Mr Diamond was a good boss and never improper to us or our daughter. We were sorry to see it closed. Alli
Rats Castle Bistro – FaringdonOver years we were frequent customers at The Rats and found the owner Mr Diamond to be kind polite and a super host. We had various Birthdays and celebrations there and couldn't fault it or him at all. Mandy
Rats Castle Bistro – FaringdonDeceitful padding of the bill. The three of us went on Sunday, and chose the £10.95 Sunday Special menu: any starter; any main; any rice or nan; ice cream or tea/coffee. In addition we ordered a bottle of their Merlot [[£14.95] and three poppadoms. So I was surprised to get a bill for £61.60. I couldn't see how they got from £47.80 to £61.60 via just three poppadoms. When I queried it, they explained that the poppadoms [70p] came with chilllies and chutneys [70p], to add £4.20. And of the ice creams we were offered, ONLY the plain vanilla [£1.80] was included in the menu [this was nowhere made clear], and the chocolate ones [£3.20] we chose were added at full price. So £47.80 plus £4.20 for 3 poppadoms plus £9.60 for the ice creams gets us to £61.60. They eventually, after a further phone call and haggling with the manager, offered a partial refund. I told them that they could keep my money; but NOT their reputation. A V O I D !!!
Delhi Brasserie – WallingfordThis was a complete disappointment. The food was less than average for the price. Pasta dishes were tasteless and the manager wasn't particularly interested in happy customers! Only saving grace was the waitress who was lovely! Don't waste your money, there are loads of better places to eat in Oxford - wish I'd gone to Bill's!
Malmaison Brasserie – OxfordBrilliant- this is a wonderful new Japanese restaurant- the best place in Oxford. I hesitate to recommend it because my guess is it will soon be hard to get a table.
Koto Restaurant – OxfordAmazing food, amazing enthusiastic knowledgable staff, quick service and lovely atmosphere. A lovely overall experience and highly recommended.
Thirteen – BicesterWe all had a lovely meal at Ask in Oxford. I had a very pleasant lasagne with rocket side salad and a nice Chianti. Would return to Ask
ASK – OxfordMe and my wife visited here for the first time on a Saturday night and the staff were very attentive and seemed to know exactly when we needed something (very good at reading body language). The food was fantastic easy on the palate and every single course not only pleased us but wowed us. A really nice atmosphere gentle background music with a nice clientele that added to the whole thing. Tried some other so called exclusive indian restaurants in Bicester but nothing comes close to this hidden gem.
Zaara – BicesterGreat breakfast, good value. Staff friendly and efficient .Restaurant clean and well presented. I would recommend it to all.
Frankie and Bennys – WitneyThe restaurant was very well appointed in a ancient and listed building on the main drag of Henley. Amazing space upstairs that stayed faithfull to the character of the building. Downstairs is modern and fresh. Food was very pleasant. Pizza and Pasta with Garlic bread and a quality sparkling water. The only problem was the sour faced female greeter to sat us at her table. Most definitely not the personality for a job like that.
Zizzi – Henley On ThamesFantastic management and staff. On the banks of the Thames, very good food and good ambiance. Highly recommended.
Rose Revived Inn – OxfordHave had a recommendation for excellent food, accommodation and dogs welcome.
Abingdon Arms, The – ThameFour of us had lunch Mon 10th Feb, Food very imaginative, beautifully presented, Banana desert to die for, just nothing to criticize in the whole meal, Friendly and not too overpowering staff. We have been in for coffee previously, that too is good, Would, and will recommend to my friends, which is something I am normally loath to do,from passed experiences. We wish them well with their new restaurant, great experience.
The Oxford Kitchen – OxfordAwful chips, poor service, grubby interior
The Movable Feast – Chipping Norton
