The wife tried the sweet potato crisps and hasn’t stopped going on about them since, I had the venison sausage and mash, the red onion gravy was perfect. We heard there will be a pizza oven soon so we will definitely be coming back with the kids for that!

Great steak, delightful sticky toffee and a really nice cosy pub with a good selection of drinks. Ideal date night location.

We came down for a romantic getaway and booked a room for two nights. The rooms were lovely - cosy and warm with coffee and tea in and a great shower, and super comfy pillows. Then we have the food. The chef and kitchen staff were fantastic, and the actual food was insane! We had burgers and pasta while we were there, and it was INCREDIBLE. The atmosphere in the pub was great too, and not too expensive either! All super polite staff, and within walking distance to awesome local landmarks. I would (and have) recommended this to friends and family, and definitely for little romantic weekends away!

An absolute delight! The Blowing Stone Inn was the perfect place to stay for my first visit to the beautiful Cotswolds. I couldn’t fault one thing! The food was so fresh, delicious, beautifully presented and served by super welcoming, friendly staff. The rooms are STUNNING!! The bed feels like a cloud to sleep on and no details are missed in terms of facilities. The location is so quiet and tranquil, perfect for a relaxing weekend away. I will one hundred percent stay at The Blowing Stone Inn next time I visit The Cotswolds!

What a beautiful pub/restaurant, we came in for a Sunday roast and it was one of the best we have had in a very long time! The chicken was cooked to perfection and the cheesy leeks were to die for. We tried a homemade mango cheesecake for pudding and their own ice cream nachos! What a creation they are!! If you haven’t tried this place yet then you are missing out, great staff and a beautiful setting. We will be returning without a doubt.

Had lunch here on a Thursday. Pleasant interior. Friendly staff and food very acceptable. Wine very nice. Shame we were only ones dining but not totally surprised as mid week and pub is slightly out of way. Will go back again as we only live in next village.

Found this pub by pure chance on a family dog walk.. we stopped for a drink which was very pleasant sitting outside in such a pretty location. The next Sunday I booked to go back for lunch! The pub exceeded expectation... we had traditional roast which was beautifully prepared and served! Also the desserts were home made which made a refreshing change from other pubs.. staff very friendly and courteous! Sad to see the pub so quiet on a Sunday.. worth a visit!! Recommend! We will return...

Stayed here last night, the room was very nice with comfy bed, very very clean, almost afraid to walk on carpet. Our meal as the breakfast was very good. Competitive pricing, dining room very airy and pleasant and lovely bar…..the chicken was excellent. Service was very good, the staff very friendly and professional. We would definitely stay and eat here again

First visit, pleasant location , the restaurant looked like it had been updated recently and was well set out. Wait staff were fine, food and drink were good, only issue menu is a bit limited , this place has got potential got a large outdoor area with covered parts but needs another 3/4 items on the menu.

Lovely location, friendly and attentive staff Food was well presented and really tasty Well priced Rotisserie chicken and chips to share was just the right amount, after a starter I chose goats cheese tart and my partner had bruschetta. Both were delicious

Big disappointment The Caribbean Night advertised on Facebook of a caught my eye as something different to try so I decided to book a table for 4 of us. I have never been to blowing stone and heard it had new owners so thought we could give it a go as not even a 10 minute drive from where we live. When we got there we were seated straight away and given a menu, the waiter stood at the end of the table waiting for us to order drinks. I asked if we could have a couple of minutes and he said he advised he would just wait for us to choose our drinks. Within 5 minutes of being seated our food was brought out and put in front of each one of us on plates. The presentation of the food did not look appetising at all. Also the fact that it had been brought out within 5 minutes of us being there that it wasn’t cooked fresh. This was then confirmed when we tasted the food that it had been reheated. The rice looked like slop and wasn’t even hot it was just luke warm. Surely the chef should know that reheating rice can be dangerous and make people ill and should be reheated to a certain temp which this was not! The waiter asked us why we didn’t eat the food and we told him it wasn’t what we expected and wasn’t very nice. He then went back and told his manager who came to our table was quite rude and just slapped the receipt down in front of us. I think the owner may need to take a step back and look how his staff are treating paying customers and also think about getting a chef who actually knows what their doing. It was a big disappointment and none of us will be returning again.

A real hidden gem (almost dont want to tell you its here)! Living local to the area, wanting to treat the family to a nice lunch/dinner I found this place and have to say after some research and reading the reviews I couldn't be happier with the selection. A short drive through some lovely villages and admiring the houses, you find the pub tucked away. walked in and we were warmly greeted and led to our tables. the menu was inviting however my partner and I opted for the same dish, the childrens menu was good also. the food came out in no time at all and we were left to enjoy with the occassional check to ensure all was good. drinks were reasonably priced and then there was the desserts... wow!! The chocolate brownie and ice cream and then ICE CREAM NACHOS... never heard of them but if they are on the menu and you have space you must try them. such a great decision coming here for food and even if you just came for a drink its equally as good, the bar and area has a welcoming feel and you wouldn't be disappointed.

Had a nice meal at this lovely country pub. The atmosphere, surroundings and ambiance was set for a beautiful Sunday lunch. We sat outside in the garden, which was a really comfortable setting. The food was hot, a little slow getting to our table though. Could benefit having a diverse menu, catering for vegetarian and vegan options. Overall it was really enjoyable and good service. Would definitely return.

Booked for Sunday lunch and upon arrival we were given the very basic menu with only 4 main options Chicken goujons Fish finger sandwich Fish and chips Or burger No roasts offered… ordered the burger which was standard brought in patty and side of onion rings ( which came out skinny and burnt with about 5 small rings for £3.00) Very disappointed and will never be returning

Lunch menu was a bit limited, but hopefully once their new chef gets established this be updated and varied. However the starters & mains we had were well made and tasty. Very friendly and helpful waiting staff.

Good beer and the food was pleasant, however having to wait 40 mins for 2 starters and a portion of chips seemed extreme especially as we were about the only customers.
