Thank you for another lovely me meal yesterday with my family.

Excellent meal Excellent staff Excellent facilities

Sunday lunchtime. Welcomed with a smile., shown to our table quickly. Sunday roast were exquisite as was the other choices from the menus. Lamb to die for, was the statement from one of the party. Good size portions for all. Service was exceptional without constant interruption you get in some places. Would highly recommend and return.

We love the Half Moon, but very dissatisfied yesterday. Us and 2 frienfrom Winchester always meet us ther and they love it, but not yesterday. Our lady fried was served with cold potatatoes and black chicken. I could not cut any of my veg. I spoke very pleasantly to the manager. He took £3 off our friends meal, did not charge for their coffees, but gave us no discount. Very surprised. We will go back again and hopefully get a better service. It also took an hour for the food to come out after other tables, who had arrived after us, were served.

Second visit in a month not long to wait for drinks My friend ordered the Pinot Grigio and said it was the best she had ever tasted We ordered our food and that did take longer than usual but was worth waiting for My tandoori chicken was a little overdone and immediately I was offered another portion Too full for dessert Back again next Friday !!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, the food was very nice and we were pleased that there was a small plate of fish and chips on offer as our elderly friend can only manage small meals. The three of us all tried a different dish and we're all happy with what we had. Thank you for a pleasant visit we will be back

Delightful meal as usual with an excellent gluten free menu. Friendly service and good value. Lovely garden and plenty of parking spaces.

Lovely welcoming pub with a really lovely garden. Had cheese omelette and it was absolutely fantastic. Would recommend Rooms very comfortable and staff very helpful and welcoming

Went for fathers day, had a fantastic Sunday lunch a really well home cooked meal. The roast beef that I had was fresh and tender as was the pork and lamb that my family had. The roast potatoes and veg were also very tasty, the two courses for £25.00 is very good value for money. Lastly thank you for the brilliant service that we received it made a great fathers day.

Took my partner and elderly mother to Half Moon pub for Sunday lunch and it was delightful, loved the decor, very spacious and light, loved the £25 for 2 courses, the roast lamb was delicious as was the whole meal. We loved it and will definitely be going back. Thank you

Had lunch at the half moon and my gluten free fish n chips was absolutely delicious and my husband loved his steak meal. Fantastic friendly staff and Katie our waitress was brilliant

We thought the value and service were great! We were a party of 5 and had a lot to catch up on with family over lunch. We were not in a hurry so the timing for everything was perfect. The food all looked and tasted great with attention to detail and decent portions. We thought the only minor issue was the pub extension 'hall' we were in which was quite loud and not very atmospheric or pub like.

We were recommended this restaurant by local friends. It proved to be everything as described. Ambiance great, service great, food lovely. A little expensive but not greatly. Having travelled 250 miles we were not disappointed.

We had a really good afternoon. The service was great and the food excellent especially the home made pie I had. We will definitely be returning.

Had lunch on bank holiday Monday with a good friend We booked as we thought it would be busy We choose the small fish and chips to leave room for dessert The portion was generous for a small meal Not sure we could manage the full size portion Chose the lemon meringue pie for dessert Absolutely beautiful

Was pleasant enough experience. Found seating around table a tad uncomfortable. The food was nice but not exceptional.
