Had a lovely meal ,excellent food and service ,definitely recommend .

I met my sister and three brothers here for our regular get together. It was the first time we had been there and we were all very happy with the food, service and surroundings. Our waiter was wonderful, nothing too much trouble! I wish I had asked his name so that he could be thanked. He was around 20ish with a beard. We intend to book again for my sisters 70th birthday in August!!

Excellent food, great service, standards maintained. I have dined here many times never had anything other than a very good meal.

Had a lovely meal here on Mother’s Day. We’ve been here a few times & always had a good experience. There is 2 of us in the family requiring gluten free & the dedicated gluten free menu has a good choice of options. The gf date sponge on the pudding menu was particularly delicious! The service is always very attentive & the food comes out reasonably quickly even when busy.

Visited for Mother's Day. Food was delicious, it was hot and the portions were generous. 4/5 for atmosphere, only because it was quite loud in the restaurant (as expected on a busy day) and Mum, who's 90 struggled to hear our conversations. Would definitely return

Four of us had lunch on Monday. Although it was very quiet it didn't stop us from enjoying our meal. The food was delicious and the service was great and we will certainly return. Thankyou

We had a fantastic meal at the half moon recently. The staff were amazing and the food was fantastic. My gluten free fish and chips was the best I’ve ever tasted and my husbands steak was also delicious too I would highly recommend the half moon it’s a friendly, happy and joyful place to eat

Staff are great, requests for seating always done. Great service. Just love the place!

It was, as always a great lunch and staff. However, our waitress did not know what a sherry was or that a ginger beer did not come as a half pint or a pint. She was absolutely charming, but needed to seek help. Also when I got my sherry it was served in a tumbler! I politely asked her to transfer it to a sherry glass which she did.

Love the place! All the staff brilliant, the Manager is wonderful and the food great!

Lovely food. Great service. Despite manic busy waiting staff very good. Will defo be eating there again.
