Such friendly, warm service! We'd struggled to find places doing a decent large menu at lunchtime and this one fitted the bill perfectly!

Great food and great service. Being as it was a Tuesday night it was a bit quiet in there + last food orders were at 8pm. I'll definitely go back though...

Always good food here. Also they cater for celiac’s, as my wife and daughter need gluten free options. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Good size car park, and tables both in the bar and restaurant area.

Friendly and excellent service, well cooked and tasty food and we could sit outside. An enjoyable and relaxed Friday lunch.

We had the Sunday Roast beef and lamb . The wait time was short even though they were fairly busy .Generous portions and well cooked . Very affordable prices. Staff were friendly and polite . Lovely atmosphere in the very large restaurant area . The gardens here are beautiful. Will definitely book again even though it is a little way from home .

So enjoyed a meal celebrating a friends birthday yesterday. Such a lovely pub. Tables spaced well so you didn’t need to hear everyone else’s conversations. The food was perfect, the service was both perfect and charming. Didn’t feel rushed but food was served in a timely fashion. Will be going again very soon.

We were scoping out this pub for a possible birthday meal in Sept. The website looks great, but stop there! Parking was impossible as they had a private event on. We chose to sit inside, there was no atmosphere, the tables were sticky, the menus were dirty, the chairs uncomfortable. The waiter, dropped the cutlery on my husbands food knocking some of it off the plate, to no apology. The food was not great, salad was over seasoned, burger meal was dry and over cooked. The whitebait was greasy. Cost £144 for a meal for four people. Overpriced for what it was, and we won’t be back.

Midweek lunchtime with my family. Very attentive and friendly service with a good choice of food available for all ages and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

We recently visited the Half Moon for an evening meal. The staff were so warm friendly and welcoming, two of our party were partially able, however the staff went above and beyond to make the experience very joyful. The menu was varied and made ordering extremely hard, as the choice was fantastic. When our meals promptly arrived., it was presented well and tasted sublime. They may be called the Half Moon, but they definitely don't do things by half. A little gem in Petersfield well done 5 ☆

Had a lovely meal with family and friends. Serving staff very friendly. Some meals are quite pricey for the portion size (steak) but the food is very tasty. I just would like more atmosphere and decoration in the restaurant area as it feels like a cafe and I have mentioned this before. Green leafy plants around or decorations from beams etc

Wonderful friendly team made our visit very enjoyable, and we had a lovely lunch. So very happy!

Lovely Sunday Lunch for Father's Day. The roasts were lovely. Nice choice of desserts to follow. Always good service at Half Moon, attentive but not too much. Like so many places though, started to get a bit difficult to converse once it got busy due to there being very little to absorb the sound bouncing off the walls etc.

Had a meal with my family on Saturday the 15th June, food all tasted great and the waiting staff and bar staff were really friendly and helpful. My Gripe is that the pork meal and fillet steak meal were very stingy portions especially for £19 & £32 I don’t often moan but I do feel for good money we should have left feeling full and satisfied. Those meals were not value for money, whilst we were prepared to pay the money for the meals, it was expected to have a bit more the one mushroom and very small chips, and a few small slices of pork fillet which also is not expensive meat.

Stopped off at the Half Moon on our way down to Dorset and had a very enjoyable meal and the service was excellent enabling us to get on our way without delay
