Superb food, drinks and service. Would recommend to anyone

We had a really lovely evening. Food was delicious, staff friendly and helpful. Atmosphere great. So lucky to find such a lovely restaurant close to where we were staying at the plas tan ty allt.

Really excellent food from a good menu. The summer pudding was first class - as were all the staff!

A lovely restaurant with great selection of food. We have dietary requirements and these were catered for very well. The food was so tasty and fresh. We really enjoyed our visit and would book there again.

Early bird meal Y swgar in Temadog very enjoyable all three courses were very good nicely presented will recomnend and return.Staff very nice and friendly and working in Porthmadog myself by end of season we are all bit tired but the standard was up there.Diolch thank you all team at YSwgar

Great staff and great food. Friendly to our 5 year old son. I had checked reviews prior to going there and they were 100% accurate. From Liverpool we have an abundance of great restaurants to chose from and our bench mark is nigh!! this honestly didn’t disappoint Staff couldn’t do enough for you

As always, awesome. Party of six, all of whom were delighted with every course. Service impeccable. Tempura prawns, Welsh lamb and Pavlova for me. Perfect, and well worth the cost.

Another absolutely wonderful evening at Y Sgwâr. Amazing food, exceptional service and a very personal touch from the proprietor who comes to every table to check personally if the evening met expectations. I have dined here, including a New Year celebration with various guests probably 6 or 7 times in the last couple of years and never been less than delighted every time. Can’t recommend this restaurant and total dining experience enough.
