Fantastic, fresh food and great service. Enjoyed a couple of burritos, patatas bravas and pork belly bites - all delish! Good knowledge of beers and tequilas from the waiter too. Even went for a dessert and cheesecake with a lime twist I would recommend. Thanks to Baja and the team. Andy
Baja Mexicali – PortsmouthPros:- Staff hard working and mainly pleasant. All areas kept clean.. Drinks, which we had, were at a reasonable price. Cons:- Food generally not of a very good standard. No carvery or steaks available when we visited. Table was booked for 7pm on a Saturday evening, so not late. It was pointed out to me that it was a slot of 1.5hrs. I think this should be 2hrs to allow time to settle at the table. Get drinks etc. before finding your way round the food counter. Especially having not visited before, didn’t give you a lot of time to eat. Saw hot drink machines, but unfortunately no time to have a coffee at the end of the meal and no space to enjoy an after dinner coffee away from the tables. Won’t be going again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else..

Baja Mexicali – PortsmouthI never expirance so bad buffet. Cold food! Very dry hard meat like they reheat it many times! When I ask menager why food is cold he said bc in winter is like that. When I ask why you scrub old food and add to new he said we not going to waste food... I really think they don't have any clue about food Safety! Sooo disgusting... I invited my friends there, I was feeling embarrassed about quality food and choosing that restaurant... Avoid!!!

It was really tasty, well cooked, tasted fresh and a good portion size. The service was excellent and the staff were really attentive and friendly. The restaurant is lovely inside and the toilets are something else! We would highly recommend this restaurant - it is head and shoulders above others locally in every way!
Baja Mexicali – PortsmouthUpon queuing to pay for entry the man who served us decided to call another worker on the phone as he was serving me and shouted him down the phone asking where they was and that they should be at work. This is highly unprofessional and rude and felt very unwelcome.
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – PortsmouthFirst visit to Spoons, Turned out to be quite a busy place. Although the whole Resaurant is enclosed it did not feel claustrophobic. Very airy, light and bright. Ventilation system excellent. Welcome and Service was very good information given by our server very clear and precise. The selection of food was fantastic, Hot Food, Description of Dishes clear. Definitely good value for money. Will definitalely be returning, in fact have already booked for a party of 25 early April.

Baja Mexicali – PortsmouthNice atmosphere but was very cold in the restaurant while we were there The food that was there was lovely and hot but a lot of the food containers were empty which was disappointing No roast on offer as it was empty and there was no kebabs as they are advertised on the website was very disappointed It was a visit for my daughters birthday so she was quite upset

Value for money is great, service is excellent and will continue to come regularly. 4/5 on atmosphere is the music is sometimes loud, along with the blowers and thats just from a Sensory aspect.
