Thyme – PoultonA meal for 6 people on a Friday night was absolutely terrific and excellent value at £18 for two courses. The portions were very good and sizeable; not just like two well designed pieces of food and a potato on a plate There are supplementary charges for particular items but we’re well worth the payment (the lamb shoulder especially ). Good atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff All food was served hot from kitchen and all served at same time. Excellent for a busy restaurant. Don’t understand complaint by someone about the Pizza as one of our party had it and was delighted by taste and size A great night with good food, service and atmosphere (apart from large tv?)
Thyme – PoultonA lovely pub ! We have been twice now & both times the food has been excellent good sized portions & great value for money! Lovely friendly staff & made to feel welcome.
The Greedy Badger at The Miller Arms – Poulton-Le-FyldeAbsolutely lovely evening in gochu, faultless attention to detail in terms of décor and attentive service. Interesting menu and delicious food made with quality ingredients. First class, looking forward to returning soon.
Gochu – Poulton-le-FyldeAfternoon tea was very nice but way too much sweet for us all. Picture advertised on Facebook (the reason why we booked) showed an extra layer of savoury. We didn’t get this on our afternoon tea. Staff were lovely and atmosphere very welcoming. However no one visited our table to ask for anymore drinks etc. we was there 2 hours and only had 1 drink (the drink we was served with as we sat down). We did few a little invisible. Of course we took it upon our selves to get up to ask for more, but would have been nice to have been asked. As previously said, staff were lovely.
Thyme – PoultonThis pub has the best beef and ale pie we've ever had. The veg is amazing. Plenty of it and cooked to perfection. Not soggy! Chips were great and the onion rings were perfect. Large portions and we feel its really good value for money. Lovely pub. Not as busy as it should be! As the food is amazing.

The Greedy Badger at The Miller Arms – Poulton-Le-FyldeLovely meal with friends. Food was good and we were left alone to enjoy it. Very busy so be sure to book.
Thyme – PoultonQuality food served in good time.
Thyme – PoultonExcellent food and service. Took our dogs and they were made very welcome and given water, treats and a fuss.
Thyme – PoultonOur first try of the new offering as the Greedy Badger - Saturday 4th February. We were one of only two tables, which for a Saturday must be disappointing for them. Hence there was zero ambience. 2 x Ribeye - Well cooked and presented. Very nice 2 x Smoked Duck - Our wives both thought some sort of sauce with this would have helped. Otherwise again v good. 3 x Desserts - Again nothing wrong here. Beer - Timothy Taylor's Landlord - Excellent Wine - All single varietals from a Chilean producer. Nothing very exciting and overpriced for what they were. Overall good food in a too quiet setting, total cost about 10% too high.
The Greedy Badger at The Miller Arms – Poulton-Le-FyldeVery good food and good service in a pleasant environment.
Thyme – PoultonHad a really lovely meal here. Had the 2 courses special offer. The food was really lovely and nice and hot. Service was great too
Thyme – PoultonVery disappointed Have eaten here many times and always been happy. However, today we opted for pizza and the chicken schnitzel burger for a change. Pizza was quite awful So much cheap cheese on the top, which in parts was not cooked base far too thick and stodgy, hardly any prosciutto . The burger was passable but really had not much taste We weren’t the only ones unhappy. Someone on next table complaining about the fish and chips and another ate a quarter of his pizza but left the rest. The staff are very welcoming and pleasant but when we said we weren’t happy with food her answer was “oh I’m sorry, I don’t like pizza either”. It’s obvious that the staff are not reporting back to management when people are unhappy. I feel sad that such a normally great place is being let down by the food at the moment .
Thyme – PoultonAlways good food couple of ingredients were missing from our meal but they brought over straight away in double quantity food always superb !
Thyme – PoultonLovely food and staff were very attentive .
