decidedly average unimaginative Indian food in an uninspiring supposedly modern Indian venue. however the place was packed which probably says a lot about the locals of Bamber Bridge!
Sagar Premier – Preston
Preston in Lancashire is a cosmopolitan city located on the River Ribble and is also the home of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN). Many restaurants and food pubs can be found in the city centre and its suburbs.

Sagar Premier – PrestonI have been to Tino's on several occasions and have always had an excellent time. The restaurant itself is superb, the food is the best I have had in Preston and the service is flawless. In December however I went on a "Works Christmas Lunch" there and I was bitterly disappointed. I had Funghi Al Aglio to start, Roast Turkey with trimmings for a main, and Christmas Pudding for dessert. Sadly the portions were inadequate and the food was mediocre at best, far below the restaurant's usual standards. It seems that Tino's are capitalising on the Christmas season by taking as many bookings as possible, but failing to ensure the quality of the food. It's sad because they will surely lose potential customers, many people were eating there for the first time, and I know there were a lot of unimpressed customers among our party. So I would certainly recommend Tino's, it is clearly one of the best restaurants in Preston, just not for large parties at Christmas.
Tinos – PrestonVisited again in December and had a much better experience than earlier in the year. The starters were fabulous and the mains equally as good. We fancied the cheese board but it seemed a bit expensive. Overall, a good experience although they still don't have any red wine glasses to hand.
The Sirloin Inn – PrestonFar and away the best restaurant in Preston..we love it!! The food is varied, delicious and beautifully presented. The service is first class and all the staff seem to have that special knack of making you feel like their favourite customer! If you are thinking of trying Moka for the first time then go! there is no way you'll be disappointed and you'll just want to keep going back for more.
Moka – PrestonMy partner and I love this restaurant, we are a young couple and go there for special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries, it is perfect for a romantic meal. It is lovely and the food is great. Would recommend to anyone of any age.
Porcinis – Prestondon't dare complain about the as you'll be short changed by one of the grumpy co owners, despite being regular clients. we won't be attending again. initially service was good but has declined pro rata with this establishments success
Bukhara – PrestonOver priced curry from a jar and a very dated restaurant. It was run of the mill food followed by an excessive bill. I don't mind paying if it is good. No individual style or special dishes. Service was good, although the restaurant had very few tables in (on a Saturday), very dated, very expensive. Would NOT go again. I say: Stay in and get a take-away curry rather than go here. Can't wait for the Italian to open across the road. Also they cannot spell poppadom on the menu. (popodom is not right).
Nellie The Elephant – PrestonThe service at this restaurant is second to none but i have been here over the years and things are starting to slip smaller food portions but meal and drink prices increasing. We went on a friday night near christmas and it was not even a third full everywhere you looked there where meal deals for middle week. When we got are bill we needed another drink.Over all YES the food was good but far far too dear, also the restaurant was starting to looked dated and at this price bracket you should be getting the all round package.
Nellie The Elephant – PrestonSuperb takeaway food and service fantastic
Titash Tandoori – PrestonVery high quality food for a pub/restaurant clearly cooked by well trained chefs. I will be returning regularly!
Farmers Arms The – PrestonThe setting is great with 'cosy' booths to dampen down surrounding noise. The food is exceptionally good, with good-sized portions and good quality ingredients - lots of tastes. Another bonus - reasonable parking just outside.
King Karai – PrestonFantastic food, great value, excellent service - Babu - you are a credit to Preston !
King Karai – PrestonI have dined here on many occasions at both lunch time and in the evening and thoroughly enjoy every aspect of it. The staff are obliging and helpful, the food always of good quality in a very pleasant dining area.
The Sirloin Inn – PrestonWhat a gem of an Italian restaurant, food was great and lovely staff who all appeared to be Italian, definitely worth a visit.
Angelos – Prestonafter hearing about the smiths we decided 2 give it a whirl,we were not disappointed at all everything was fantastic, n we will b going bk soon .
Smiths Arms – PrestonMe and my Fiance ate at Bangla Fusion at the weekend and i must say take the service was the best i have ever had, the waiters could not do enough for you, i am vegan and they accommodated all my needs beautifully, the fish dishes also are impeccable my fiance had the salmon which was cooked to perfection. the prices were good and the menu was of a good selection also. we will definitely be going again. sarah southport
Nellie The Elephant – PrestonWe visit the Green Man whenever we get the chance, the food and the staff are excellent. My wife is a chef and can be a little fussy when it comes to eating out, but cannot find fault with anything on the menu. The food is locally sourced and comes in sizeable portions which is a winning combination in my eyes.
Green Man – PrestonBeen here many, many times and always delighted. Last night we went to the tenner evening and it was so average. Desperate need of professionalism in menu and service. We would rather have paid more and not been disappointed. Soup on one of the tables went back three times before they abandoned it. May be we chose a bad night but sadly we are unlikely to return despite our previous satisfaction. The cheap price on a Tuesday is very short termism for repeat customsrs.
