Italian Orchard – Preston
Preston in Lancashire is a cosmopolitan city located on the River Ribble and is also the home of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN). Many restaurants and food pubs can be found in the city centre and its suburbs.
excellent as usual!
Italian Orchard – PrestonWe have been twice now - once with the Children on a Sunday afternoon and as a couple on a Saturday evening. The food and wine are a little expensive compared to the "faster" type outlets but it is well worth the extra. The whole presentation of the place is refreshing and attractive. The service is exceptional and the food delicious and presented in a fine way. My only gripe is that there is no waiting space or reception area at the front and it is awkward if there are a few of you waiting for tablesŠIf this was sorted then the whole experience would be exceptional.
Pizza Express – Prestongreat place great staff drinks bit expensive but not 2 bad 2-50 for a small bottle of water bit pricey also my daughter got a j20 that was 2-50 aswell
Haighton Manor Country House Hotel – PrestonWe were a party of 30 celebrating my sons 21st. What a fabulous night we had. The staff are excellent and fulfilled all my requirements. We were looked after like we were royalty and made to feel very welcome. The food was just delicious and everyone thoroughly themselves. i think quite a few people from our party will be returning again, myself included. I can't thank Mark and his wonderful staff enough. THANKS!
Huntleys – Prestonthis was our first visit to 'Huntleys' after hearing many good comments from friends. We were not disappointed, the food was fantastic. the mixed grill was the best I've ever seen, and tasted. the duck and fillet given ten out of ten by my guests. The waiting staff fantastic, not stiff and starchy but friendly and attentive making the whole experience relaxed and very inviting, we will return.
Huntleys – PrestonTastey Fried Chicken, I recommend anyone giving Dixiplus a try - you will return ...
Dixi Plus – PrestonBest curry house in Preston! Babu is a legend!
King Karai – Prestonwhat a surprise indeed.the fish pie was truly amazing and quite possibly the best homemade chips ever.it was a pleasure and highly recommend the new hall tavern
New Hall Tavern – PrestonI organised our orienteering club's annual meal at Huntleys this year. We were the first to use the new extension, tables and chairs. Everything was very well laid out, quite often you feel squashed when out for a large group meal but not here. The food was wonderful and the service superb. I've had a lot of positive comments from the people that were there, many of whom hope to visit again for a quieter meal.
Huntleys – PrestonNot a bad Indian restaurant - nothing particularly original but good quality standard fayre. They have kingfisher, Carlsberg and Tetley? on tap/draught, which is nice.
Sangam Balti House – PrestonGreat place, menu sometimes limited but the food is generally superb. Staff are classy and attentive - owner is slick and friendly without being overbearing and knows everything he is serving which is a great help if you don't know what you want. Room is a bit tight but adds to the intimacy. All this for a very reasonable price - no wonder you need to book early. Marvellous
The Sirloin Inn – PrestonI'm a regular visitor to the Hospital Inn and I haven't got a bad word to say about the place. The atmosphere is wonderful, very relaxing music in the background, and the staff are so friendly. There is an extensive menu, plus a snack menu and many specials boards in particular one for vegetarians, fish and even a curry menu. The drinks are quite expensive but the food is not so it all evens out. The main dining area is no smoking so it doesn't put you off your food. Service is always quick and with a smile. We dine there with people who come from Darwen just to eat there and enjoy a nice evening. We all go back time and time again as it's such a great place.
Hospital Inn – PrestonWow, what value for money... 3 courses and a bottle of wine for less than £19 each. would highly recommend this place and the new owners Frank and Barbara are very friendly and helpful a+++
The Derby Arms – PrestonI had to write a review on Tinos, being a regular visitor and never once having a bad meal there. The food is always wonderful with plenty of choice on the menu, the staff are always helpful and attentive and I think it is run by an Italian family and they are always the best restaurants to go to! I would recommend anyone to try Tinos especially as it is not just pasta and pizza on the menu, plenty of authentic Italian cuisine is available.
Tinos – PrestonThis place has an amazing chef - i had the best curry of my life - I am going to get addicted to this place. The service is outstanding and the staff are very polite and friendly. i would definitely recommend this place for a take out. What a delicious experience I had.
Shahi Tandoori – PrestonWhat a great little place, not been for years and it appears to have recently been refurbed. Fantastic food, not just your typical italian fayre, I had spicy pork and it was excellent my partner had duck pancakes which were very tasty. Good wine list and fantastic friendly service, well worth a visit.
Pinocchios – PrestonWe have eaten here a few times over the past 2 years and have never been disappointed. I would highly recommend the hunters chicken. The only downside is there is not a lot of choice for vegetarians.
Walton Fox – PrestonMyself and my family recently enjoyed a fantastic meal at the Italian Orchard. We were astounded by the extent of the menu for wines and food. Fantastic choices! The quality of food, service and ambience was unbelievable and we will definitely be back again.
