Lovely little place, would definitely be back.

Had a lovely lunch, very attentive staff. I have been before my friend who hadn’t, was impressed.

I am a regular visitor to South Planks Cafe, the food is fresh and well presented. I love all the healthier options especially the Granola Bowl and falafel, hummus and salad bagel. The girls serving are so polite and efficient and make the whole experience an excellent one. A porch on the entrance door would help, as it can get drafty if you end up sat by the door in winter. Keep up the excellent work and I won't drift off anywhere else. Super!!

I've only recently discovered Planks Kitchen and I love it. The food is fresh, plentiful and really healthy. The staff are welcoming and cheerful. The restaurant is a lovely environment and I like the outdoor seating, which will be great in the warmer months. My only issue is they need to get a self-closing door, as it can be a bit draughty sitting near the entrance, as so many people go through and leave the door open. I would thoroughly recommend Planks Kitchen and have already introduced several family members and friends to the place. The online booking is straightforward and they don't make a fuss if you have to ring up and cancel. Give it a try!

We enjoyed another fabulous meal on Saturday night. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent. Ryan came out of the kitchen to speak to everyone when they had finished their meal which was a great personal touch.

Once again we had an excellent meal, the service was excellent and the overall visit was excellent. I must particularly highlight the waiting staff who were attentive. That's not to take anything away from the chef and his staff, we have come to expect the high quality of the food on each occasion that we have visited

What a great place for Breakfast or lunch. Wholesome , fresh healthy food in a good atmosphere. Good value for money.

I absolutely love the fabulous tasty wholesome food at South planks . There aren’t many places that serve such great nutritious food with great vegetarian and vegan options which are always fresh and extremely good value for money ! The home made kombucha is fantastic too !

Wow this place is absolutely fantastic this has to be the best sunday roast I've ever had everything is cooked to perfection and service is very good , will definitely be going back thank you everyone

Met up with friends over lunch yesterday. Great value and varied choices on menu, we all loved the different sandwiches we chose: prawn, coronation chicken and ham. Service was excellent, prompt, polite and professional, whilst being friendly. Will be back again.

Me and my friends had a lovely meal here last night. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was brilliant and attentive. The food was divine, every dish got better and better, full of flavour, the perfect portion size for each and every one Would absolutely come again

Food was absolutely delicious and the service was brilliant too. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely be returning.

We went for lunch on Saturday, great food. Had the chicken Caesar salad and really good value. My son had the club sandwich and this too was delicious. However, took a while for our drink order to be taken. Later we weren’t asked about our food or if we wanted more drinks. That was a bit disappointing.

The meals we had were healthy and tasty and the service good.

Everything was superb from the venue to the atmosphere and staff and especially the food. Delicious. Everything home made and wholesome ingredients. Will definitely return and recommend

Our first visit to Bread and Butter was on Friday after reading good reviews. We are fairly new to the area so trying out different cafes/restaurants. We were very impressed with the cleanliness, the food and the service. We will definitely go again.
