Smiths Arms – PrestonHad a meal Saturday22/02/14 amazing food and service.
Angelos – PrestonThe 3 of us in our party had an excellent meal at the Ye Horns Inn Goosnargh. The pub is famous for its duck and quite rightly. Gammon and trout were very good too. Brew their own beer. Will definitely return and would strongly reccommend to others.
Ye Horns Inn – PrestonAMAZING HEARTFELT CAFE WOULD LOVE TO WORK HERE.
Beautiful Planet – PrestonOMG do not bother - no atmosphere, even on new years eve - nasty manager who is only concerned about getting your money without providing a service that warrants the high prices they charge - please see Tripadvisor as lots of complaints!!!!!
Mezzo Restaurant & Bar – PrestonWe called in by chance with a friend who was dubious about Indian food, The cleanliness was at first intimidating however the warmth of the welcome from all the staff was very relaxing. Our food was to the highest standard and our dubious friend was impressed. would highly recommend.
Touch Of Spice – PrestonHave been here a few times food is always excellent with very good service. I think prices are very good and you get good quality food.
The Maharaja – PrestonWe went for a meal at the restaurant last night and was blown away by the service and food!! There was a problem with the card machines last night and we was stuck paying for our meal, we was given complimentary drinks as we waited to solve our problems and then was kindly waited on by the owner and was then informed that we could have our meal and pay the next day! Luckily our problem was solved as we was able to pay, nonetheless we was truly grateful of the restaurants kindness. We will definitely be going again, our food was amazing, the restaurant is beautiful and the service was class! Very pleased! Thankyou very much :)
East Z East – PrestonJust popped in for a quick pint (as you do on a Monday night!) Best pint of Kronenberg Ever... Cosy, warm and very friendly...will be going back to try the menu soon.
Smiths Arms – PrestonWe visited Raffles this afternoon in Preston 24/11/13 we ordered our food which came to the neck end of £28 for 3 sandwiches and 2 drinks slightly expensive I think but that is not my complaint with this place, my girlfriend had a Tuna and mayo wrap which came in 2 halves , she couldn't finish both halves so decided to take the other half home with her, we asked the waitress if we could she said no problem and promptly returned with paper bag to put an open fairly sloppy wrap in I then asked if this could be wrapped in tin foil and then put in a paper bag the wrap was taken away sent down to the kitchen to be dealt with however it returned unwrapped and back in a paper bag I mentioned to the ladie on the counter about the tin foil to which she replied they didn't keep it on the premises I took the Wrap out of the bag which then fell apart mostly over me at that point I knew I wasting my time I then told them to throw it away i had just gone past trying to get this thing hygienically wrapped up. I know it sounds trivial but principal had taken over by now I left the place seething and put a complaint in to the service area in st George's I don't hold my hopes up for a reply but you never know it's nearly Christmas !!!
Raffles Coffee House – PrestonNever had a bad meal like this one, half cooked food, I asked for it to be replaced which they did for a part burn one and still frozen in the middle, call the girl over who was bl@*dy rude, NEVER going back..
The Sitting Goose – PrestonHad lunch at this restaurant saturday just gone. It was faultless! Fantastic atmosphere topped off by the live pianist. Food was excellent as always. I just wish we didn't have to drive to this restaurant, I could have stayed all afternoon with a good bottle of red! Highly recommended.
Italian Orchard – PrestonGreat home made food and friendly staff will definitely be visiting again soon.
The Derby Arms – PrestonWoW a place to visit , We fell on this place on google and I was so happy we decided to go The full package from start to finish what can I say ? Only You must go and see for your self strongly recommend 10/10 for everything.
Angels – PrestonMy husband and I have always had a beautiful meal at the Willows restaurant at Barton Grange. We have eaten there many times and it as always been lovely, also it is nice to get food that is cooked well using local produce.
Willows Restaurant @ Barton Grange Garden Centre – PrestonThe Sherwood in Preston Is the worst pub we have ever been in.The rudeness started within a few mins of walking in the door, we committed the (apparently) cardinal sin of sitting in the "adult only" area they claim they have to keep by law???The manager very rudly asked us to move and when we asked if there were other tables with a bench was very sarcastic. We should have left but not knowing the area and hunger got the better of us. We found other seating and ordered, again the manager was rude and obnoxious and was clearly put out when I asked if the mash had dairy due to my kids dairy allergy. (To the point of ignoring the next few items of the order because he was huffing and rolling his eyes, so I had to repeat it)The other staff were slightly better, but not much. One ignored me while I was attempting to order desert and carried on her conversation. The food was ok but we will never go back there and have told friends who were considering it not to bother, I was looking on review sites to find a good indian locally and wish I had checked before visiting the Sherwood because 70 of them are from people who had similar experiences to ours. I have added mine to the chorus!
The Sherwood – PrestonWent to Bukhara for a friends birthday meal and I was left traumatised. I found a huge dead wasp in a dish. I was in shock and hurry and more than anything disgusted. Went I talked the manger he simply replied saying "listen yeah it fell in the dish from my journey to the kitchen to your table" um no it was at the bottom of the dish don't try to justify it with that excuse. Did not even have the decency to say sorry. Absoloutely disgusted. Never again.
Bukhara – PrestonThis place has always been superb, we always have our "special" birthdays there and having just booked a table for 11 for next Saturday....can't wait! If you moan about this place, you must have been born moaning!!!
The Cottage 1771 – PrestonSunday Lunch: 1 course, £18.95; 2 courses, £23.95; 3 courses, £28.95. Available 12pm-8pm Sundays.
