We have been eating at Lord Roberts for many years. A very friendly and village like atmosphere. Makes one feel calm and relaxed. Staff is very friendly and quality of food has been maintained over the years. These are clear positive achievements. Thank you to everyone at Lord Roberts.

I booked a special celebratory lunch for three big Birthdays and not only was the food delicious as always but the service was exemplary. Also I am Coeliac and that was catered for diligently. Despite them being busy our food was served promptly and nothing was too much trouble. The overall bill was very reasonable and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely breakfast on Saturday , and the cutest little cafe, delicious coffee and charming guy stood at from the service team. Two bits of feedback was if tables are reserved as we were, but you ask to swap to a place you want to sit in not sure why this is such a problem. Particularly as they were booked much later and empty tables. What lets the cafe down is the toilet, really needs a deep clean. (Sorry) Would definitely recommend this very insta worthy cafe.

I went to the Lord Robert’s on Friday 6 th Feb for a pre birthday lunch, the food was lovely, However I then went back on Sat 7th Feb with my family for a birthday brunch, the food was really nice but the staff were moving furniture for a party which meant it was hard to talk and disrupted and felt this could of been done before anyone arrived.

We come to Lord Roberts on the green quite often and it's fantastic every time! Staff cannot do enough for you, really attentive, food delicious and amazing atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

A group of 6 enjoyed lunch at Lord Robert’s on the Green. A miserable rainy day, but a warm welcome inside & we all enjoyed our baked potatoes followed by coffee. Thank you..

A fantastic time on 26/12. A special treat for my mum. She absolutely loved it. From arriving to find big car spaces to a fab day having an afternoon tea. Perfect. All the staff were brilliant, we could see why a lot of regular were coming in. Well worth worth the visit

Three of us had Sunday brunch. Lovely food and friendly staff. One of us is coeliac and was delighted to find that all the paninis were gluten free. Also delicious, as was the hot quiche I had. They were also offering gluten free carrot cake and mince pies. I was previously there for an 80th birthday celebration: finger sandwiches, beautiful little cakes and mini quiches and sausage rolls and small scones, perfectly baked with jam and cream. Full range of teas, coffees and non-alcoholic drinks. We'll come again!

As always, the breakfast was very good with good service.

Lovely venue, friendly and good customer service and the food was delicious. Can’t wait to be back
