Friendly staff generous platters and good choice of food including vegetarian options.

I went for a meal with my boyfriend and our friend, the service was quick, the food was delicious and the portions sizes were great! The value for money was good too as the portion sizes were big - the staff were very accommodating and lovely - will definitely be coming back again. I would 100% recommend the cheese and onion pie! :)

Brilliant pub grub and the BEST cheese and onion pie on Earth! I love this place and the staff are all brilliant. They get everything just right.

Had a lovely family meal at the weekend not one person had anything bad to say all food really good, good sized portions all say will be back again.

Excellent choices on the menu; excellent and thoughtful service

Our meal was excellent and we enjoyed the attention of your friendly staff. We will certainly come again. Please note that Pepsi and Pepsi Max are NOT appropriate substitutes for Coke and Diet Coke - the tastes are different. Why not offer both to satisfy your customers?

Food, service and atmosphere were all excellent as usual. Our favourite place to eat or just have a drink.

Amazing food in a lovely location

Went for an early evening meal with my 2 grandkids, it was extremely busy but staff were friendly and efficient as always, food was excellent. The grandchildren (18 and 20) decided to have the "Fairground" sharing dessert. It was hilarious, for anyone not knowing what it is, try it next time. It finished a fun evening in the best possible way!

Four of us went for lunch and all the food was very tasty. 3 x steak pies and gammon and 3 deserts. Portion sizes were great. Service was a bit slow to say it was just after 12 and pretty quiet. Bit pricy, but a lovely place and nice staff.

The Steak and Stilton pie was gorgeous an absolute taste explosion, will definitely be back for a second helping

We arrived a little bit before the time we were booked in and were shown to the booth as we had requested on our booking. The food was delicious. The staff were efficient and friendly. The atmosphere was far too noisy for us - we couldn’t hear each other speak. The service was a bit mixed up in that we received mixed bread and oil part way through the meal and a cold dish at the end of the meal when all the other dishes were finished. We understand that dishes are served when they are ready but would expect the cold dishes to appear first? We had a lovely meal but didn’t spend as much time as we usually do having a meal because we could not have a chat with our friends at the table.

I have been to the pub about 5 times and had an excellent meal on every occasion. The premise. is clean and has a good atmosphere. On all the occasions the staff have been very professional and friendly. I would recommend anyone to visit and have a meal.
