Had an absolutely fab night on mothers day. The staff are super friendly and the food is fantastic

Great food good service nice atmosphere

On the whole we had a lovely time. Most of the food was amazing, with the exception of my roast beef. It was tough and overcooked. The rest of the roast was delicious. My only other issue was slow service. But o appreciate it was busy so that’s expected. The actual pub is lovely and I’ve been a few times since it’s been done up and the food is always lovely.

A local favourite particularly for the fantastic Sunday Lunch. On a very busy Mothers Day afternoon we received a warm and friendly welcome as usual, drinks order taken and served quickly followed by food order . As it was very busy we expected a slower service but didn't notice any undue delays, all food was served piping hot and in good portions . We managed to resist their amazing Fairground dessert and chose the small portion & coffee options which are certainly not small at all and a perfect end to a great meal - on any occassion.

Brilliant food, and Fantastic service from start to finish

Visited as a couple, arrived early for our table booked for 7 but we were welcomed at the bar and ordered a drink whilst waiting for our table to be ready. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Restaurant very busy but staff still attentive, nothing too much trouble. I had vegetable peanut satay, which was very well presented with rice and very tasty, my partner ordered the steak fajita tacos served with chips and salad, again well presented and well cooked. All food home cooked and served hot. Have been a few times as family group and as a couple and always enjoyed the food and will continue to visit. Only drawback is drinks seem a little expensive in the restaurant, £6.50 for a pint of lager !

Delightful atmosphere, delicious food and brilliant service. Food arrived quickly and was very tasty and good quality.

Went for lunch with friends. Food was lovely, there was a lot to choose from on the menu. Service was very good. Will definitely be returning.

Great menu with lots of choice and great service

I booked a table for my friend & I to meet up for tea as a last minute treat. There was good availability for 6pm dining. It was quick & easy to book online. Our food arrived promptly & we weren’t disappointed. We will definitely be back

Have eaten here a few times in the past and enjoyed it. Booked a Table for 3, prior for 7pm, it was the earliest time available. Shown to our seat. Would have all liked the beef dinner. On ordering, told no beef dinner or lasagna left, so had to rethink our choices. We ordered 3 courses. My Morrocan lamb was quite bland and not worth the money but the other meals we ordered were enjoyed.

A wonderful pub. We had a warm welcome and sat at a very comfortable seat by the fire. The food was delicious, and the portions were huge. We didn't have a starter and could only just fit in a pudding, but we were glad we did! We'd highly recommend this place for food and drinks.
