Visited on a busy Friday night and was treated to fabulous food and even better service. The food is a little expensive for the amount you get but it was well made and tasted gorgeous. However, the service was outstanding. We could not have wanted for anything but it was done discreetly without bothering us while we were chatting. It was a really great evening and I will be going again soon!

The food we had was very tasty and cooked to a high standard and the service was excellent. It was an enjoyable evening dining out.

The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallShould be 4.9 but the sliders wont take me there. Fish pie and accompanying veg was delicious as was the steak and ale pie but my husband found the chips a bit hard and the fish a bit too oily.

Nothing is too much trouble. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. The food we ordered was delicious and of an exceptional standard. Some new additions to the menu meant we tried some new and exciting food. All washed down with a great Rioja. Yet another memorable visit. Would highly recommend!

The Whitchaff Inn – Rawtenstallmyself and my husband arrived for are evening meal that we book online for 8pm slot, the pub and restaurant seemed very busy which i consider a good sign to anyone who as never visited before. However we have been to the whitchaff several times before and love it there, the bar was but que went down quickly. we decided to sit at the bar as the lovely guy who served us said that are table wasn't ready yet which was perfectly fine, and we don't mind waiting. The staff were all busy a all knew what they were doing and all polite. we was shown to are table about 30 mins later and was given plenty of time to decide what to choose to eat, with a very great selection of different dishes. something for everyone. Our starters arrived and the food was piping hot and very very. The main course was also just as good, unfortunately I didn't have room for a dessert. we had a couple of drinks afterwards and sat at the bar again, my only criticism i have is that the staff give you the impression that they want you to leave when you have finished your food and its not the first time they have made us feel like that. maybe that's why that place is empty bye 9.45pm on Saturday night.
