Absolutely brilliant, food , service excellent

Just moved to Rawtenstall 3 months ago. 1st time here and definitely not the last. Food was delicious, atmosphere was great. Lovely and helpful staff. A must from from me. We was a party of 4 and everyone loved it. Lits of choice, both wines and menu. See you soon

Superb food in an amazing atmosphere. The arancini are better than anything you’ll find in Sicily!

The food was absolutely fantastic, each course was delicious and we sampled a lot of the menu. Great service as well. My only ask would be to spread out the courses to give you timer to enjoy and not be so full early on. By the time we had finished in just an hour we didn’t have the room for any further drinks and would have liked to have doesn’t more time in the restaurant having some relaxing drinks. That apart , the food service and atmosphere is top notch and i would recommend anyone to give it a try

Very poor experience, we had the butcher platter to share, the only thing from the butcher was small kofta wrap, mac&cheese and potato balls have nothing to do with butcher. Also was supposed to come with greek salad but it was lettuce dressing and cucumber slices far away from any greek salad. Thd pate wasn't smooth enough. All this for 29.99 is rip of and disgraceful. I'm giving 2 stars for the food because the kofta was tasty.

One of my favourite easy eating out destinations. Lovely atmosphere, great food, great service. Please don’t ever take the Malaysian Prawn Curry off the menu it’s to die for!

As a family, we visit The Whitchaff every time we pass through Rossendale. I am originally from Rawtenstall and haven't lived there for almost 20 years now. The service is amazing, the food impeccable and so reasonably priced. The only restaurant I have ever visited multiple times that consistently delivers on every level. See you again next month!

Absolutely amazing. Our daughter has a sesame and hazelnut allergy. On arrival we were given a menu that was highlighted in 2 different colours, showing which foods had or may contains these foods. Put our mind at rest straight away. The food was lovely as always and the service were great . Highly recommended.

Excellent as always. That's all I can say. Ok, I can say a bit more. It's a fab place for an informal or special gathering of friends or family. From cocktails to delicious Sicillian tapas, from service through an extremely local guest ale to ambiance, it has it all. Word has got round, as it gets very busy and you will have to book a table, but it is worth it. The menu is diverse, with enough for everyone, including gluten free and vegi. There will be a lot of things that will become your favourites, but make sure you try something new, or off the specials board, as you'll add them to your new favourites and that will be your biggest problem.

The food was good as it had been in the past. As always the young waiting on staff were friendly and efficient. But unfortunately the restaurant was very cold despite them plugging on a small fan heater. This did spoil the evening. The people on the table near us sat with their coats on as my wife did. This you don't want to do when you are having a meal.
